Instead of a course, you might try a poker training software. It is most important to know the value of your hand relative to your position. For example, should you raise of call with AJ under the gun against eight players? Against five players? How about AJ suited? How should you play A/10 unsuited, same situation? Should you fold, raise or call holding sevens in mid-position, against eight players, with the hand raised three bets to you? Against five? How would you play those hands against aggressive players? Against passive players? Against calling stations? How should you play Q5 unsuited heads-up before the flop?

You should also learn to read 'tells'. Before you look at your cards, observe the faces and reactions of the other players as they look at their own cards.

Shuffle tracking is important for hand shuffled games.

Fast games. Mostly solid players. No nonsense.

Definitely! If you're looking for more than just YouTube clips or scattered forum advice, there are some solid course-style resources out there.

One site I recently found helpful is called Mans Club — it offers poker lessons in a more structured way, especially good if you're starting from scratch or want to build fundamentals.

It’s not overly flashy, but the content covers basics, betting strategies, and some intermediate stuff too. Might be worth a look if you're serious about learning.
