Misc GAMBLING BLEEDS INTO CASINO SHOW

    This has been around for years. I think I saw it in vegas first. But it recently came to Reno for a one nighter with Jerry Springer as host of 'the price is right".

    I am guessing that people pay money for tickets, and a portion of that money is used to buy gifts that they can possibly win. Combining entertainment and gambling. THe gamble being that your name would be picked. to participate, and the other gamble being that once picked you could make it up on stage, and then win a prize.

    I am sure the prizes arent as good as on the TV show, with 25k cars, and 10k trips. And if those prizes are offered, it must be impossible to win.

    But its nice to see, that after a day of gambling, people will go for entertainment at night, which is in effect............GAMBLING

    Any casino wants your cash from the moment you walk in until the moment that you leave.
    They'll do whatever it takes to get it, it's actually sad - not "cool".
    The methods they come up with get cash from your pocket to theirs is never-ending
    and people who fall for it probably deserve to be taken for that ride.
