    ahem ... per wiki:

"Prior to the sale of his website, Michael Shackleford was amidst a financial struggle as WizardofOdds.com failed to generate a profit. LatestCasinoBonuses owner, Joshua Chan, approached him with an offer to purchase the site. A sale of this type would normally be based on an earnings multiplier for the previous 18-36 months.

After a period of negotiation, an offer from a higher bidder and a rejected $1.6 million proposal, Chan brought in two partners to present a new $2.35 million offer, which Shackelford accepted. WoO was then under new ownership with The Wizard himself remaining on board to create additional content across not only WoO but other sites within the LCB Network. Chan now holds the majority share at 65% while his partners have taken 25% and 10% stakes respectively.[7] The Wizard sites were sold on September 19, 2014 for $2.35 million to LCB Network."

The above leads me to conclude he almost certainly was involved in negotiating the sale when he waved his tin cup.

Those negotiations probably took awhile, and there wasn't a lot of time between the begging and the multi-million dollar payday.

    Egad.

Wow ... If in fact this is true, using his family and making up Cypress bank nonsense to create sympathy for a phony tin cup donation scheme certainly changes my view of him. Maybe with the Greece bankruptcy thing at the time it was what he thought good cover for a bullshit story that people just might believe. Then the edit part, removing the using the kids part later knowing someone could use that against him.

I agree that a lot of what I read that was allegedly happening didn't add up, and pegging him as a compulsive gambler was the only thing at least to me that made sense. When things don't make sense that's typically a compulsive lying gambler getting caught up in their own bullshit.

So, with that all being said, I would change my view on the pretense of what Larry and Kewlj said were to be true. He should be viewed as a calculated lying, misleading, phony, no self respect, using "the my poor suffering kids" card, filled to the top used scumbag.

Can't wait for my 3 day suspension to expire over there.

Gotta love that Wayback machine...our very own Wikileaks. Let's call it Wizzie Leaks. Not to be confused with the way manboy *leaks* when he watches videos of Angela at 3AM.

I don't think anybody is claiming he invented losing money due to the Greek banking crisis. that part is most certainly true, Stavros had him off. If they are monitoring this site, then your suspension may never be lifted, but no doubt you will be back soon, perhaps permanently.

The Wiz has stated he'd only suspend for posts made on WoV which are in violation of site rules, and not for what others may post on another board.

As the criticism mounts on other boards, I guess "We'll see about that."

Really?!? I refer you to a post made by Wiz on 3/14/16 at 6:58pm in the discussion ll about the suspension list.

"It is with my much regret that I have to nuke kewlj. Normally we don't consider what goes on at other forums in our suspensions here. However, he has been spreading private and untrue information on other forums based on events here."

(For the record the information that I spread (posted on another forum) may have been private, but it was absolutely true. It was his own words, just as I did here.)

He banned me for something posted on a site, Zenzone, that I am sure Wizard does not even read. Norm Wattenberger (qfit) does read the ZenZone forum (he refers to it as the hate site). Qfit read the comments where I posted a contradiction in what Wizard said privately and publicly and alerted Wizard, who then used the "posting private" excuse for banning me, no doubt at his friend Qfit's request. But it all happened on another site, so his statement that he only suspends (and bans) for post made at WoV is just another case of Wizard being dishonest and untruthful.

You were nuked because of "politics," for lack of a better description, same as LarryS.

But the Wiz had posted what I stated.

    Again, "We'll see about that."

I suspect that heads may roll, notwithstanding his assurance to the contrary.

And I would have been better with the situation if he had been honest and stated that. I still wouldn't have liked it, but I would have respected him more if he had been honest and said something like: I am banning KewlJ because he is involved in a feud with Qfit, and while Qfit is not really participating member of this site, nor intends to be, he is someone that I look up to and consider a friend, so I am choosing to take sides and ban KewlJ.

But he knew that wouldn't sit well, so instead he forced a phony truce agreement, then suspended me twice, then banned me for comments on another site, each and every time at the request of Qfit, who did not, does not and never intended to participate at WoV regularly.

It's Mike's dishonesty and untruthfulness that bothered me more than anything. As stated above, he wasn't honest with me (or the WoV membership) during the suspensions and banning. And he wasn't honest and truthful in the aftermath discussions, often saying things like "he knew he was wrong but just couldn't allow me back to continue to bash his friend". This dishonesty, two-facedness of saying one thing privately to me, while saying just the opposite publicly is why I felt I had to reveal some of his private communications.

Through my time and participation here, I have learned that this dishonest and untruthfulness was not just an isolated incident. From LarryS and others, I have learned of many other instances where he has been dishonest and untruthful. Apparently THAT is who he really is. He just is not the person that I thought him to be, nor the person I thought I was dealing with when I chose to participate at WoV.

And maybe that is more my fault that his. Maybe it was my fault for thinking he was someone else, someone with some dignity and integrity. And maybe that's why it hurt some, when I discovered who he really was. I take responsibility for holding him in high regard and being disappointed in who he really is.

I never said that the greek bank assertion was false. I just said that it didnt affect his ability to feed his children or live a normal life.

And from the MRV offering of the quote about the sale....we can see this sale had to have taken at least a few months, with a second bidder involved, and the back and forth, and Chan having to find and bring in partners, contracts drawn up, contracts revised, contracts re-revised. The "t's crossed the i's dotted.

And if people fail to believe that there were no negotiations at the start of the tin cup waving.....there is solid proof that the tin cup waving post continued during the extensive negotiations.....the tin cup waving post stayed up through and after the contract negotiations and signing.

The fact that, even as 2.3 mil is sitting in his pocket(either as a lump sum or over time) the manboy never went back and closed the thread or tell people to hold off. Its like he felt he deserved it.

I went back and read over all the nonsense I posted over such meaningless useless bullshit, and for some reason today I feel foolish. I wouldn’t know him from a hole in the wall, and couldn’t care less if he passed away tomorrow. (god forbid) I think I just have to much retired time on my hands, and need to focus on other things.

    Really?

    Like what?

    Contemplation of death?

    Meh.

Be thankful you have this and other boards to distract you from life's "real world" problems.

He tossed joshlabotnik, a trolling piece of shit if ever there was one.

Like EB in his prime, he tries to inflame others to respond in such a way that they get suspended.

Heh heh, turnabout is fair play.

There are idiots and cunts moderating gambling forums all over the internet. esloto at betselection is a fucking idiot hiding out in Perth, probably only ever gambled once, like mission a non-player. Then you have the scamming dog andy dulay from Punta Gorda, wart-hog sob, Janice should watch out, he'd do anything for the sake of a dollar.

The more those misfit mods screw up their own insignificant, miserable lives, the more they mess with others. It's the WOV way....learned from the master himself. It's all they have.

Mission/Pavlov/Pierce is nothing but a two faced hypocrite whose only claim to fame is puking nuggets for the pleasure of his master, manboy. Just another patsy.
