How does the Vig change on the 6/8 when you press...rhetorical question...it doesn't.

Doesn't matter if you press, power press, press till your blue in the face or take a bet and down.

You pay 1.52% on the 6/8 regardless of your press strategy.

What I do like is that you can't overcome house VIG unless you press and have a strategy for pressing.

The more aggressive you are - the returns will be less likely to occur, but regardless they will occur and you still pay - yep 1.52%

It’s not 1,52% return you give the casino if you lose 75% of the time. It means they have a hold on you superior to the house hedge.

If you only press and don’t collect winnings, you will get raped even more then the guy who put up a bet and collect all the time.

You make a great point - Sam Grafstein always recommends you take a profit on each roll - but to be clear without a proper pressing strategy you'll never out run the vig.

Key is to be aggressive but understand the variance on power presses etc. Again, the fee to play the 6/8 is 1.52% on one win - if you choose to press on 6/8 and not collect your then pushing a greater chance you will lose ... check out the site samgrafstein for more information and some spreadsheets that work out all probabilities on grafstein's method and others.

On a 6/8 progression i like a moderation of pressing and profit - from 6/12/18/30/42/60/90/120/180/300/420/600/900 etc.
