Craps Do you know anyone that has been banned for being too good?

I have been watching the Bone Thrower youtube videos about dice setting and I can't tell if the guy is that good (15+ rolls without 7-out) or if he only posts his long throwing streaks. He talks a lot about getting banned from casinos and I figure with a big enough community, if dice setting DID work, there would be stories of people getting banned from casinos.

Yes, some have been. Mainly sliders and spin shot shooters.

I was on here not to long ago talking about the very same thing. It happened to me twice and I couldn't believe that if everyone is as good as they claim why it hasn't happened to them.
Both bannings were not from playing. I could bet on other shooters. I could throw the dice as long as I did not set them or pick them up a certain way. Looking back I think that they probably thought I was working with the big betters. Not the case..Just a dummy that thought when you learned to handle the dice they would let you run.. NOT TRUE!

I will also say that I couldn't do the things on purpose that got me banned at the one casino. I was hot the night before. Went back the next morning. I was not hitting my inside bets I was ice cold. BUT any number I hit would come out back to back or repeat shortly..... I threw an eleven. One other guy was at the table and threw a quarter on the eleven. I hit it again he parlayed and I hit my third one in a row. Mind you my bets were on the inside. He took his win and headed out. It was then the pit critter started on not setting or picking up the dice the way I was. Now in hind sight I should have pulled my bets down. I lost them....lol When I went back months later I was told the same thing. Don't set or pick them up like that. They have to be rolled straight down the table. Every one else could do what they wanted.....

 

I forgot or I would have put this in. In one of the Nevada gambling towns the dealers were saying that every casino in town has a no dice setting policy. Don't know if they are owned by the same company or not.....It's on you tube...

 

I've known only one Dice setter that was permanently "Banned" from shooting at a casino.
He was warned to make sure both dice hit the back wall on every roll, and after several warnings .... he missed hitting the wall and the casino took the dice from him and he was permanently Banned from shooting Dice in their casino.
However, I and another Dice setter had a Las Vegas strip pit boss come up to us and tell us " you're going to have to leave, you're too good for us" after we both had very good rolls.
Another time a setter from our group was told "you're finished for today from shooting, you can play but not shoot." after having a great roll at a Las Vegas local casino.

Getting backed off and or harassed was the way most casinos handled Dice Setters.
Casino harassment tactics were many... from the STICK MAN leaning into the table blocking shooters view, holding the stick in the way to block certain shots. Verbal threats, too slow, not hitting the wall, dice need to bounce off the wall a certain distance, etc.

So the casino used different ways to deal with Dice Setters besides permanently "Banning."

 

To me the only cats makin cake from the "dices settings" thing are cats what sell the course and seminar, and such, hey hey.
