As promised, I modified the program to include progressions. So after choosing the number of #s and session length you can now choose between 1. flat bets, 2. positive progression, and 3. negative progression.

These are fairly simple progressions based on the D'alembert style. The positive progression flat bets until a win and then increases by 1 unit. If the bet wins again within a cycle then another unit is added, and so on. When the consecutive losses reach a cycle length the stakes revert back to 1 unit. A cycle is defined as 37/n where n is the number of #s you're betting. eg betting 5 numbers the cycle is 37/5 = 7 (rounded). So this progression attempts to exploit "hot" numbers.

The negative progression increases the stake by 1 unit when consecutive losses reach a cycle length. eg using 5 #s again as an example, after 7 losses in a row add a unit to each of the #s, and if losses continue the stake will rise again after 14 losses, etc. On each win the stake is reduced by 1 unit, so it works the same as the standard D'alembert on the even chances except that the stakes only rise after every cycle.

I also added a calculation to get the average stake over all the sessions. In my limited testing it seems as though the negative progression does generate more winning sessions, although I assume these would be offset by the increased losses in the losing sessions.

    Have fun with it. :D

p.s. This is a quick and dirty program with no error checking on the input, so it will probably crash if you enter invalid data, such as letters instead of numbers.

Thanks so much Jerome, that is a great great job!

Possible to last 500K spins with 1 random number and a progression positive/negative! Impressive!

It seems that with a bigger number's bet you have more sessions with a positive progression than losing ones...

18 numbers on 10k positive >3 sessions profit while only one with a losing progression.

Eleven spins should tell all how good a bet selection is unless one goes for those exotics .

11+11+11+11+11+11+11+11+11+11.... finally are not making 11 Nathan... The thing that matter is how many 11 you'll make coz Jerome'software tell you what you cannot overcome.

Jerome, I suggest you use a more aggressive progression 1-2-4-8-16 and if it is not enough to be in profit try 1-5-10-20-40 and if the Roulette still resists you, take the big guns 1-10-100-1000, if you are not in profit then there is a glitch in your Ddos program. Also why launching a system against too much spins? If you go with your bitch for the night, you will hardly play 150 spins, so it is more realistic to test against few spins. Ask me if you have any questions or want advices, I have been studying the game since 20 years on RX or Pretend mode Roulette game where you can buy 1 million token chips for few dollars and restart a session that turned bad or logging off/on to avoid recording losing sessions. Also don't forget to pre-order a copy of my book that I had to release since 10 years already, but I've been busy because I am at the same time recording a movie where I am the main actor/hero.

    Best Regards

Turbo should visit this topic because it answers what " not enough spins means". You can only have something if you can beat what extreme random case does.

According the software what is amazing is that if we take the luckier player ever, the one that situates at the total extreme right of the gauss curve... If that guy plays randomly one number with Jerome 's progression in the software, that guy could last 500000 spins / 120 spins for a session that makes around 4166 session. Let's say 2 sessions in a week 4166/52 weeks= around 80 years if one sessions per week, 40 years if he plays 2 sessions a week. That guy coudln't believe any naysayers and couldn't believe he was lucky and a total brutus as all others.

@ Sharptracker, been away for a few days and couldn't reply. But yes, that's one of the things you can learn from the program, that a lot of bets resulting in a profit doesn't necessarily mean you have a winning system, because it can and does happen anyway from sheer luck (positive variance).

It also confirms mr j's opinion that betting few numbers is better, if you want to leverage the the positive variance. But the other side of the coin says that by doing so you're also maximizing the negative variance.

    @Jerome

Hello Jerome, I've been testing your program and i'd like to know if you'd be agree with my conclusion.

As i can see, we can get different case where you could last more longer with a positive progression than a negative progression on EC for example. So that involves that there is better progressions than some others in order to last the longer possible, right?

Of course, but that was easy to guess. The worst game is to play the 37 numbers, then 36, then 35 etc etc The better game is to not play 0 number, the total opposite of playing 37 numbers... then 1 number is better than 2, better than 3 etc etc in order to last. But what about the variance? Almost no player couldn't stand a negative variance with 1 numbers that could last for ages... I've heard before that the optimum range of number to bear variance psychologically is 5-7 numbers bet maximum. After 7 numbers, bad swings become hard.

Anyway, great topic that you made!

I think there could be a bug in the software because I'm getting some unexpected results. I'll check it out and get back to you.
