I'd like to tell you that it is actually the best thing that can happen for them. Sooner you got pocked, better it is ... In this world we're almost all money's slaves where the most important equation is how much money do you earn per hour? If you're a stupid martingaler that got pocked quickly, you'll go back to work... but if variance is playing with you for ages and at the end you realize that for all time you spent you earned peanuts and that you should have worked instead, put your energy somewhere else to make much more than what you actually got, well you'll be the real loser.

About Ap'ers, trust me, 90% of them (to be kind) are living also in a dream. Only a very few of them can sucess.

About Turbo and Ken and the other folk of winners, they can download Jerome 's soft, get the limits and show how they overcome the limit...

    Mako ,

Many uninformed people are having the mistaken notion that EC players are deploying the martingale to chase losses .

On occasion I am considering EC as my bet selection. I have a choice of FOUR methods to play that game and none includes the martingale .

Only play EC where la peerage is being offered .

Because I'm stuck on 00 wheels, I never bet anything outside. So that eliminates about 75% of the nonsense we see posted being an option, those methods are non-starters for me simply because there's no point trying to overcome two greens.

The past couple years I've stayed focused on repeats, with as few numbers being bet as possible. And that's provided good results, but nothing I would consider an edge, which is why I'm always curious about how others play repeats full time (Ken, Turbo, etc).

I do feel you can win over time, even if it's slight, by sticking to inside bets, few numbers, and following the trend, but I'm not there yet. That's where most of the testing I do lies, in exploring better ways to identify and play numbers that are occurring more often that expected.

How about you Nathan, where is your focus now after so long, do you rotate between your favorites, or is there one "best" way you tend to play most often?

    Mako,

    Thanks for your reply.

My preferred bet selections are the dozens either stationary or follow the dozens .

The 22 numbers known as the action numbers are another choice .

All of the above are wheel based choices and subject to MM and discipline.

Among the top US gambling Gurus the consensus : Find the table with the lowest minimum and play the lowest amount possible .

Bet selections are not what makes a winning session it is how one plays the game .

I always liked John Patrick and Brett Morton's action numbers, mainly because you could derive the right numbers for the 00 wheel as well as the single 0.

I tested out a few different approaches with them last year and they did well, but within the range of where I felt I might have just been lucky over time. I was using a selection from Wally Gator for the tests:

    1 on 0/00
    3 on 1-6 Line
    5 on 10-15 Line
    2 on Quad 17/18/20/21
    5 on Line 28-33

I should go back to it and do some more work, will add it to what seems to be an endless list of testing.

Now take a look at the wheel and you shall see how well those numbers were chosen with never more than 2 clicks between them .

In real play take your winnings and leave the table once you have reached the win goal .

    MKO,

Correction use 3 on the Quad and 5 on Line 1 - 6 . Each one of those 22 numbers is of the same importance .

Ok mate but there are only winners at roulette, didn't you know? It's harder to find losers than winners on forums.

    What way did you chose?

The original 22 Action numbers by John Patrick and Brett Morton are 3 double streets and 1 Quad .

    Happy Winnings .

The theme song on many of the posts on the roulette forum might very well be " I am always chasing rain bows " .
