    Good day everyone,

Perhaps seen in my introduction that I’m Dutch so my English might not be perfecto .

I see a lot of systems or playing methods for Baccarat/Punto-Banco being discussed here, even promoted or shot to the grave as well. In all of them (for as far I have been able to read them) the individual writing about it make to my opinion the same ‘mistake’.

Have you guys ever considered that Baccarat is a card game an not a board game?
So many posts I have seen with examples of the outcome of a shoe with a lot of P’s and B’s (forget the E’s).
As mentioned in my introduction I have found an error in the rules which have an effect on the game by counting the cards and not the P or B scoreboard.
I will keep on reading however if there are posts about playing methods that do work from the cards perspective , please let me know.

    Thanks in advance

Thanks for letting us know. Previously many of us thought we were playing some sort of board game like Monopoly which includes cards, but the cards only come up in certain situations.

Are you ONE of the guys that walks into the higher stakes baccarat floors and starts asking players in the middle of their play whether they know how to play?

Haha, nice to see we are on the same page!

I wish, over here in Holland we don´t have high stake games.
If we did like in Vegas or so I probably would if I they let me.

Put it this way. Their is on-line live baccarat play 24/ 7. Now these casinos continue to offer the game with zero restriction of what is on our side. So you can have 1,000,000 people and 1,000,000 super computers on our side if you want counting and analyzing anything and everything and they are still offering the game. In a live casino, you could have multiple players all teaming up to play a shoe and taking a long time per hand and writing out anything and with many casinos having their cell phones out as well.

By higher stakes I was not speaking about high limit, etc. but any place where you can expect to find experienced players.

Correct, however if those 1.000.000 don´t know ´what´ to count there will not be a correct answer will it.

And yes, where can I find those.

Good point. After all you should be able to conduct better analysis and guessing than 1,000,000 people and 1,000,000 super computers. So start counting. Thanks a lot. We are aware that baccarat includes cards. I learn something here every day.

Thanks, If all those millions of yours don´t count what needs to be counted in the right way, then it takes only one to overrule all of those wouldn’t you agree.
Don´t ever think your too old to learn something new!

There’s plenty of info on the subject over on the wizard of odds website. I can sum it up for you. Counting cards in baccarat works about as good as counting cards in craps or roulette.

Most people play Baccarat for the purpose of gambling. If you tell them to use $2000 to win $200, they are not interested. There are a lot of instances where people win tons of money with a little bankroll. Baccarat gets into your senses, your character and sanity. It will melt you if you let it. Yes, you can replace your job playing Baccarat but to get rich, good luck. Can you control yourself? That is the key question. Mathematically, the game is unbeatable. It's a negative expectant game. However if you have the patience and only play when the game is beating itself, you might be successful.

There are times in a shoe that all you have to do is just put down your money and you get paid. Just jump on the bandwagon with everybody. Don't be creative in bet selection. I am a dealer and I know that there are times where the customers win. It is those times that when things go bad that the customers don't know how and when to stop. Go to Macau and walk through every casino and you will see gamblers crowding tables 3 deep and screaming with joy, The problem is, will you be able to get in?

Ya I know what you mean I’ve seen it like that. I’ve also had times when I’ve followed the pattern and my gut and I have just killed it and other times I go in and guess 15 hands wrong straight lol

Sounds like you belong to the group of gamblers that are going backwards instead of going forward in money management. A beginner is NOT the worse gambler. They usually win a little bit or lose a little bit and quit. After some more gambling trips, they will win and refuse to leave and eventually lose it back. Sounds familiar. That is going backwards. After some more trips they will learn to protect their winnings BUT not all winnings comes smoothly. A lot of gamblers win because they chase their losses. Usually they are successful but once they get ahead a little ,they quit for fear of losing back again. These are the worst gamblers and it sounds like you are one of them. From the casino side, these gamblers are trying to lose and not trying to win. Believe me, these wins almost everyday BUT will gave it all back in one day or two. If you are somewhat like that, please change.
    To be continue.,......
