Lounge Off topic//Galaxy S4 question

I have a S4.galaxy
2 YEARS OLD. needs new battery

Radio shack, ATT phone store(where i bought this phone), sears, walmart, doesnt carry any cell phone batteries. I guess they want you to buy a new phone rather than extend the life of your current phone.

Amazon has it for 6.95....but reviews say its a knockoff and doesnt perform well. Massive reviews saying the battery is a Chinese knockoff. Where the real samsung battery says made in japan, assembled in china.

I am willing to pay the higher price to get a real samsung battery,. On the samsung website they sell the batter but only with a recharger combo for 30 dollars. I just want the battery.

Any ideas......where did u get your replacements.

I guess if batteries are scarce and you get a faulty battery that fries your phone......everyone concerned wins...samsung sells a new phone, and the stores sella new phone along with a plan.

 

i think best buy has it for around 40 dollars....website is 40 dollars....////SORRY i must found this possibility.,,BUT thanks for reading

wow what a difference between the real deal and the amazon 7 dollar knock off passing as the real deal

i will be a sucker and spend the extra 32 dollars because I think the knock offs are not worth the risk

probably overpriced but thats the breaks.

 

As it tuns out Best buy doesnt stock, and the Samsung site is on backorder.

Its as if they want you to order the knock off, and have your phone explode, and then get a new one,

no party has complained or notified me that what I have said is untrue or even hurtfull

If someone has an issue they can take it up with me, and explain that they have little where-with-all to counter my opinions, and I would do the neighborly thing and stop for that person.

So far I havent had a request.

By the way, I found a duracel battery for a galaxy S4 at a chain called batteries plus and bulbs
it cost 39.99

Same price as the original battery on the Samsung website..however it was out off stock at that site.

Samsung would much rather you get their new version than buy a battery

The duracell has a lifetime warranty

The knock offs on amazon and such get horrible reviews....they cost aroud 12 dollars...and I guess you get what you pay for.

 

Where do you live? In which country?

I think the best option gonna be via internet. Some like aliexpress.

 

Thanks, but I found a chain called Batteries plus. I found a Duracell brand for 39.99(the same price as the original Samsung battery from the samsung site). However its on backorder from the samsung site which is idiotic .
Amazon has 12 dollar batteries that theyclaim are original....but the massive complaining reviews there say otherwise. The cheap knockoffs are known to not hold charges long and not allow the phone to complete all its functions.

The one I bought is like the one in my phone when it was new. It holds a charge for a good while.

it seems they wouldrather have you get anew phone with a new contract. than get a battery.

radio shack, target, walmart bestbuy, and the phone seller kiosks at the mall do not sell batteries......why would they when they can sellyou a phone.

 

Get a galaxy S6! Much better phone! I have the Galaxy S6 Edge and I think it's brilliant!
