I am a proud proud single parent of 2 blessings that makes me a little less grumpy waking up in the early mornings. (I'm not a morning person till 1 cup of (coffee). I am a firm believer in you get what you give, and treat other like you want to be treated. I started playing poker at the age of 11 with my 1st game one that most haven't heard of called Guts, It's played with 3 cards, no draw, and 1 betting chance. I then learned 5 card draw then 7 card stud and was playing these 3 games every weekend till I was about 15. I went roughly 10 years of playing poker on rare occasions till the age of 25 or 26 until I was introduced to in my opinion the greatest poker game ever No Limit Texas Holdem. After learning the basics, after playing a few hours I knew I was in love. After about a year of playing I really thought i was the best at it, then realized only about 4 months ago that yes i knew the basics for a long time but came to the conclusion that I learned how much to holdem there was to learn that never crossed my mind as a tool needed to be a better player. These last 4 months have been great my hunger for knowledge increases when I think of how much more there is to learn. I have been playing, reading, and talking to people and understand that no matter how much I think I know there is always more to learn. This takes patience and in my opinion a vital part of being a great poker player requires the same, the more the better!! Since I had my wake up call I have noticed my average in tournaments dramaticly improve (I am better at tourny's than cash) The best part is I understand that i'm after playing holdem for about 11 years just now starting to truly learn how to play it so the sky is the limit!
