I've given up on it because when you get to the casino and chart the one hitters they are in fact part of the past and relate to the third and fourth hits of previous uncharted spins that occurred before you got there. They don't act any different as they become second, third, and fourth hitters. It all tends to follow the expectations of a law of thirds. I wrote some really good software that tested these ideas and actually had a few simulations where more than 300,000 spins actually won a few times. The problem was when you test 10 million spins it fails drastically. There is no point in it all.

You would have to know what the "system" is in order to work on it - test it - and then give up on it lol.
I know this for a fact because one would never think of giving up on something that always works.

You make a good point...however, do you feel that your knowledge became obsolete?

This proves only that everything you've posted in this thread are irrelevant with what you are playing at casinos.
If I had the chance to travel at states I'd be interested to meet you and Ken, let me set this straight, I'm not interested to tell me or show me your ''goldmine'', just to meet you in person.
I've expressed to Ken that I feel that we are of similar ''caliber'' the 3 of us.
BTW Ken get lost the last month, probably he's busy advertising roulette computers to the casino staff, you know, just for your information...

I just got done writing a single number progression that looks like it works. It starts with 1 unit for one single number selected. It stops automatically at 52 losses in a row. This is done so that you can select a different number for 52 more spins to reach a winner. So it is a 104 step progression to get a winner or lose. A full loss is 424 units. There might be one or two addition mistakes. There might not be.

    These are the steps:

    36 at 1
    17 at 2
    12 at 3
    14 at 5
    13 at 8
    12 at 12
    ----------
    104 spins

There. That is how you present a system. You don't have to wait until you get your secret decoder ring in the mail.

Test away fans. and if this is the holy grail, ha ha, Roulette is done.

So far, nobody has created a working progression and shown it in the wide open.

    at Bob,
Are you EvenBob from WOV or Bob Dancer?
    at Gizmo,
Let's say that me, you, Ken and Ed are going together at a casino.
We all are going to use your progression, BUT Ken picks hot numbers, Ed picks cold ones, you randomly and me my ''lucky'' ones.
My question is this, do you think that we would have the same bottom line?
The next day we go all together to same casino again, we all use same progression and our different numbers selection as the day before, do you think our end results would be identical to previous day?

My point has been established, progression alone could not transform anyone to a long term winner.

The sim I wrote selects the best first number descending numerically, 1, 2, 3, 4, etc... after 37 spins. The best way to use it is to go until you are 100 units ahead and then come back another day. So it automatically goes with a number that has hit three or four times. But it stops any time it loses 52 spins in a row so that you can select a different number. It creates a chart so that you can see how well every number is doing so far. I could automate that too. So both Ken and I would win because I will always go with the hot streak.

What was that language you programmed in, again? You mentioned it at BS but can't remember.

x-Talk, it's a descendant of MetaCard, which is a grown up version of HyperCard. HyperCard almost became the language of the internet. My favorite version is LiveCode. It's a real right-once-run-anywhere language.

I wrote this progression thing in a regurgitation of a different sim that I Frankensteined and brought back to life just to see it. But that app is so clunky that I'm writing a new one today just to power test this thing. I want to tweak it as I do all these experiments just to see if it actually has any merit. It's so much easier to start this progression sim over from scratch.

Here is how it selects the best number from 37 spins:

    Code:
    on getBestNumber
       global dBlok, xTopHold
       global totalSpins, hTelemetry, wingDing
       put "false" into wingDing
       put "" into hTelemetry
       put 0 into totalSpins

       put "" into field "maintext2"
       put "" into dBlok
       repeat with i = 1 to 37
          put random(37) into tHit
          repeat with k = 1 to 37
put "X" after line K of dBlok
          end repeat
put " " after line tHit of dBlok
       end repeat

       repeat with c = 1 to 37
put line c of dBlok into zong
put the number of words in zong into zim
          repeat with hh = 1 to (zim - 1)
put word hh of zong into ding
put the number of chars in ding into dong
             if dong < 10 then
                put "00" & dong into dong2
                put dong2 & ", " after line c of field "mainText2"
             end if
             if dong > 9 then
                if dong < 100 then
                   put "0" & dong into dong2
                   put dong2 & ", " after line c of field "mainText2"
                end if
             end if
             if dong > 99 then
                put dong & ", " after line c of field "mainText2"
             end if
          end repeat
       end repeat

put the text of field "mainText2" into zapThis
       put 1 into xTop
       put "" into xTopHold
       repeat with v = 1 to 37
put line v of zapThis into zapped
put the number of items in zapped into numZapped
          if numZapped > xTop then
             put numZapped into xTop
             put v into xTopHold
          end if
       end repeat

    end getBestNumber

It seems interesting but why 52 spins, îs there any reason behind it?
