Casino A Formula Sheet for the Beginner….help make sense of math

Hello,

I have been trying to ascertain some of the math I’ve read about hoping to come up with four formulas for : video poker, black Jack, progessive jackpots, and slots

Would you all be able to tell me what formulas would be most beneficial for me to know when deciding

… if the edge favors me over the house?

…the +EV and -EV ( and how to make use of that)

…how to consider 3 betting denim’s and what value they’ll bring and how many spins

….whatever may be missing, or advice that helps me solve this for myself




I have success with just playing strategy, but I want the advantage math offers with a simplified format that’s quick and painless in helping to decide games that I’d likely profit from.

I’d like some references that explain how to properly use the values for optimal play/return.

Something as simple as a prefilled sheet for plugging in the necessary calculations a new gambler could learn to zip through and find their game for that session.


I’ve read a lot of math stuff, so I know what words to say (sorta) but I have no idea how, where, when, or why to apply it.
