Roulette A long shot is the way in -EV as roulette.

Roulette is a game of chanse, a bit simular to a lottery, we have more to chose. Lottery use to pay out much less than roulette.
In a lottery we can win bigger than 35 to 1 but worse odds.
I have for some years used roulette as a lottery game, where I want to get a bigger win, and accept to lose very often a small amount which I should throw at something like a cup of coffe or a beer anyhow, for sure not save.
Some years ago I hit it well, got a win of 12000 Euro, was very lucky as I spent about 600 Euro in it.
It was almost a year sporadic betting.
I started again with a target of 7200 Euro gross win. The max stake on a straight up witch is 200 Euro on the casino I use. I bet 5.5 Euro on a number, which if hit pays near 200 Euro and parlay it (add 2 Euro to make it 200).
Today it went in I got 7200 Euro. The differense from the former is I have used more over long time to
get to a hit twice. I spend 5.5 Euro a few times a week make the spin when I sort of feel lucky. Its about 1000 Euro in net. It can be hard to stake the second bet, but it will never be a large win if we do not dare. It is 5.50 from pocket.
I am sure it is easier to win big using a bold parlay then try to grind it out. If it takes time Ok, and we use spare money. I have not recorded if I would be better of this time if I took the 198 Euro each time, but from memory
I am quite sure I have not had 37 hits. If we try it, I think it will hit some day, we may not be plus, but
have some money and had some fun.
I will try again, a few spins a week to not feel the expense, and hope for an early hit.
It can take several thousend trials if we are not lucky.
Far better than lottery tickets, and it is more fun to se it happens, then just check the drawings.
As roulette has -EV, it is not suitable for grinding out larger winnings.
It is exiting to parlay a straight up, and I use to do it with smaller stakes. If we put in 30 Euro and start try to get a double hit in 1000-1400 spins or less, we can start with 1 cent, and slow (after maybe 200 spins) add one more. It is not very high stake, but the few parlays are very thrilling. The long shot is 1296 X.
The bet selection can be any. I use to follow the last, which means I have to see three in a row. If I just pick a number I need two in a row. The probability is the same 1/37 x 1/37, the last number hit is allways 1/1. My reason for moving the bet is to avoid a long sleeper. It may not make sense, some should say three is harder than two, so pick just a number.

It does not matter if it is days or weeks between the trails, we just have to hit a number twice.
We know the bank will not sudden run out. Beside this play I use to use 100 Euro/month for other roulette play.
