8 Unit Play. Take #253/254 Oklahoma vs Alabama Over 77 (8:00 PM, Saturday, December 29, ESPN)

Two teams that have been trending to the over will meet when the Oklahoma Sooners take on the Alabama Crimson Tide at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, FL in the Orange Bowl on Saturday night. Oklahoma has posted a perfect 5-0 record to the over in their last five games following an ATS win and they are an excellent 7-1 to the over in their last eight games following a straight up victory. They have also gone up and over the total in five of their last six games where they faced a team with a winning % of .500 or higher and they are an impressive 9-4 to the over in their last thirteen games following a game where allowed less than 100 yards on the ground. The Sooners were also one of the best over teams in the country this season, going over the number in eleven of their thirteen games. Alabama has been an over team as well in the spot they are in here on Saturday as they have gone over the number in six of their last eight games played in the month of December and they are 11-4 to the over in their last fifteen bowl games. They are also a perfect 4-0 to the over in their last four neutral site games and they are also a perfect 5-0 to the over in their last five versus a team from the SEC. They have also been one of the better over teams in the country as they are 8-4-1 to the over this season and they are an insane 20-5-2 to the over in their last 27 neutral site contests. Throw in the fact that we think Alabama is going to be able to score at will along with the fact that we think Oklahoma will move the ball enough to put points on the board and that's where we'll have our play as we think both teams get up and down the field on Saturday night, giving us a winner on our 8-Unit Bowl Game of the Year on Saturday night.
