I am always looking for craps tournaments in the U.S. I have only played in few small ones with some success. Seems the casinos do not make a schedule out very far ahead, so when there is one I miss them.

If I could edit I would correct the spelling in the title, sorry.

Rudy... I think a Craps Torn-ament probably works for me.

For those "High Roller" wannabe Craps Players... a Craps Tournament is the medicine you need to cure yourself from exposing too much money at a Craps Table over a long period of time. This is absolutely the BEST way to have a great experience and hopefully having a competent group of dealers. You can have a great time, expose little in "real" cash, and might even win a prize or two.

A group of Craps Dealers went to a Downtown Fund Raiser who they hired a VFW Craps Crew and their portable table for such events. The merchants in town donated everything from a gold coin by a local Bank to Art Work by a local artist. You could buy in for a flat rate for so much in funny money and get chips at a Blackjack, Craps or a Chuck a Luck tables. Additional chips could be purchased during the event, as well. At the end of the Las Vegas Event, you would exchange your winnings, if any, for numbered coupons. You entered as many coupons as you wanted for a better chance to win one or more items as you selected. One coupon in the box and the other was your receipt. (Word to the wise: Crumple your ticket that you enter into the drawings. It creates a larger surface area exposed to whomever is picking them out of the box.)

The VFW dealers were paying EVEN MONEY on Lay Bets. I played both the 4 and 10 as wagers and looked forward to those SEVENS. So... if you know what YOU are doing and the DEALERS do not... go for it.

As Harley lives in [Admin Edit: Personal Information Removed] I am surprised he did not chime in with information on the Vegas craps tournaments rather than post an insipid "any updates" remark that was really designed just to move another post off page one of the thread and on to page two. The big tournament is the California Club's annual Golden Arm contest, which usually occurs in April. This is an invitation only tournament. Harley, did you earn a slot?
