Not true. There is "talk" of it, or something similar, but so far nothing.
I think it's more about flagging large amounts of cash moving in and out of bank accounts, not about cash under the mattress. But also, so far nothing.

$5k is the upper limit without ID. Even if you were to "structure" your buyin by staying below limits at multiple tables you will be identified as suspicious and a potential money launderer.

They didn't ban cash here, but they damn well tried to with the Currency (Restrictions on the Use of Cash) Bill 2019 which fortunately failed to get through the Senate. That bill would have seen Australians doing jail time or facing fines of up to $25k if they used cash for transactions of more than $10k.

Im no expert on la partage, I would have liked to see a thread on that subject , for interest sake on my part as we are not able to use that here in skipptophia. I would assume it may have been of interest to others if it contained actual information rather than a shit dribble as it was presented by the ring hole on this thread.
