Just thought I'd post a fun bet method I read about once that offers a technical better than 50/50 chance of a win.

Pick one number and bet on it level stakes for 37 spins. If you consider 37 spins (euro one cycle) is your single bet.

In most cycles your likely to see 24 of those 37 numbers appear (at least once).

That's above 60% chance of your number hitting.

Granted your profit dwindles the further into the cycle you go. So it's not an even money odds return. You could throw a progression in too.

Just food for thought. A fun method.

Never thought of it. May be there is some sense in it. But what makes you think that you will see 24 of 37 numbers during the cycle? Something make me think that it's not so accurate a system, but thanks for sharing anyway.

    Apologies for delay in answering!

Its not a system at all. Its just a fun method of lazy play that uses a statistical probability. In any 37/38 spins an average of 23/24 unique numbers will show with the rest no shows. This is 80% of the time. Of course this swings between only 18 showing and upto 30 showing at the extremes. Its just a natural law of third thing. So thats giving you almost two thirds of the board showing.

I believe that a stepped progression is a good idea. Meaning we keep betting only 1 chip fot 36 spins.
If no hit we bet 2 chips for the next 36 spins etc.

Good in theory, but you need to remember that some numbers can sleep for a very long time. 100s of spins. I would suggest changing number every 37 spins if the number selected does not hit. I have tried this previously and usually bet the first number hit in any 37 spin cycle hoping it will hit again and be one of the 12 repeaters that appear in 37 spins.

    Nice.
As for the long sleepers, does anyone know, on average, how much does the last of the 37 numbers sleep? I mean, if on average it takes 37 spins for 24 numbers to appear, how many spins does it take for 37 numbers to appear?

If you test it you'll see that generally all number will hit within 148 spins or 4 cycles. Though there can always be that pesky sleeper that could linger a lot longer so don't go counting on those!

Casinos aren't exclusively for gamblers looking for profit. For a lot of people its just entertainment or a night out with friends.
This was just a method for staying in the game with a decent chance of a win.

Evens bet is a bet placed at odds of 2.00 (1/1), normally known as even odds, and is seen as a perfect bet mainly for players who mostly bet on singles because it doubles your stake if guessed exactly.

Forget anything related to "sleepers", "cold" or "due".

Take it as an entertainment would be fun.

Test and analyze own formula and strategic would be more fun as you may get the "excitement" when you hit it.

This statement is correct, however the comparison with even chance bets is invalid.

Betting on single number for 37 spins pays 50/50 (or better) only for the first 18 spins (or less). The probability of hitting a single number within that 18 spins is less than 40%.

Indeed a fun method and food for thought. Maybe there more beauty and power in simple systems like this one than over complicated systems.

    Hi there.
I've saw this method in other places.
My experience is that if you try this should be on full table because you will be one chip in many.
Therefore i stopped playing this because I'm more into beating the game me versus the dealer. But he is right. For fun players this one on a good night could bring you lots of time and lots of profit at the table.
Just bare in mind that dealers man... Where I'm from they have years of this with hours every day. They are pros!
They know how to try to run away from that heavy stacked numbers. So being alone and playing even half a wheel before spin will send you home broke.

Your statement is also correct regarding the return/odds. But I wasn't saying its better the return remains better than evens. As I mentioned the bet would be considered a single bet that just happens to last 35-37 spins. The odds start high (35/1) and dwindle over the course of the bet. But your chances are better than 50/50 of a hit.
