Hey, I’m a big fan of casinos, and I’m very happy that they started opening in Pennsylvania, but I wonder if online casinos are a better option since the pandemic is far from being under control.

I found out that some casinos in Pennsylvania have online versions as well. Have you played already at any regulated pa online casino? Is the experience similar or close to playing physically at casinos? I've never played at online casinos and your insights would be very helpful. Thanks!!

You could end up losing more than your shirt.

Considering the virus hasn't even started to plateau in the US, rather is increasing rapidly, then IMO you would be a fool, but hey be my guest.

I read today, Star City in Sydney have been fined a whopping $5000 for no adhering to Covid19 regulations.

Yep, it's a bad bet if you are in the target demographics for this virus. All they did was to slow down the spread at first. They never set out to stop it from spreading. They have more ventilators and more of everything, including medications that mitigate the effect of the virus, including jerks politicizing that too.

To quote from above, you really must be a degenerated gambler to contemplate going to any casino given the current climate. What really can you with a few hundred, thousands even, can't exactly take a holiday.

I'm not old and vulnerable like a lot of the gambling public. So I wear my mask and just business and usual. Here in vegas they have plexiglass screens on all the table games. Sissylak mandated mask... So its as safe as its going to get for now..... You can play online but people have this notion its rigged.. Mainly because there not sanctioned by GCB.

I eventually think Online casinos will be the way forward, more and more people will turn to online betting rather than enter a casino especially with the fear of COVID-19.

Good post and good food for thought. The only problem is the credibility of the online site, still a bit Wild Wild West ish at the moment. That in itself seems strange that no credible online casino ( that I’m aware of) is not in operation as it really must be a goldmine opportunity in the making. The problem with the interverse is that there are very few ways to truly validate claims of legitimacy. Even if someone from this forum posted a supposedly reputable site , it would still be suspect imho.

Perhaps it would be best to ask people that are actually known to yourself personally if they have any experience with credible online casino sites as that probably a better way of safe guarding you initial deposit. Failing that maybe trial and error using small amounts of money could be the best approach.

I would be careful also as you seem to be from Thailand and your government restrictions are also a factor, you may find that trying to withdraw money from the online account may be null and void as they will say you are from Thailand and it is illegal for them to conduct business with you. They will be happy to accept your deposits, they will let you play , and re deposit funds . But withdraw is the problem.

I faced that issue with bet 365 about 12 years ago, as it’s illegal to bet online in Australia, and I played poker for real money with that site. The UK office . When they opened a entity, physically here in Australia 2009ish they block my account and said I can’t get my money back as it was illegal for me to gamble online as they are now here in Australia . I said just transfer my money to an Australia account they said no as that would cause a problem for them with the Aussie government.

So make sure you get as much information as you can about your country laws and the application to yourself.

Maybe not what you wanted to hear. But good luck anyway. Cheers

I wont be I'm young and Online Casinos arent to be trusted. Not because of some rigged bs claims people have.

There payment process is ridiculous. You need to submit an ID and take a selfie to give to some random guy in South America who has a massive database just primed to get hacked and identities stolen.

B&M is cash in the hand and the feds cant tax me. Only on "Merit" are you suppose to claim wins and losses.

If you go through online they have a paper/ crypto trail of all of your winnings. Remember coinbase is linked with the feds now actively tracking crypto here in the states.

Just my 2 cents. Fk the government and there taxes. Just like the Patriot Act. Always passing "laws" to further there interest.
