Baccarat Commitment of Serious Players - Baccarat Edition

After experiencing most everything under the Sun at a casino, it's time for seriuos players to put the hammer down on others that are being disruptive, agitating, and problematic in the house.

Turn directly to dealers on up to the most senior floor management you can to get them to stop, get them disciplined, and get them 86'd.

- Drunk belligerent players get the fuck out. Others specifically miss out and avoid you because you are annoying and stupid as fuck and they can't concentrate around you and or don't want to be around your trouble.
- Motor mouths that are jabbering on and on about useless shit that has nothing to do with insight into how to play a baccarat shoe effectively get the fuck out. You are also annoying and stupid as fuck and other players can't concentrate around you insights on the meaning of life and unicorns.
- New players that have questions and want to learn get the fuck out if the people you are asking convey they are trying to concentrate and are playing and don't want to hear your inquiries. I literally had a guy that I've never seen before ask me if I knew how to play when it's so clear to everyone I'm right there playing and this is the bigger table limits area. Thanks you stupid fuck. And others that want to engage in basics right there in the midst of playing as in we're playing your not and you want a 101 Q and A session. Try that on the poker side you shit for brains and see what happens.
- Players that want to get into it with other players or staff WITH NO LEGITIMATE REASON OR BASIS. Everyone is under pressure to win and do well. You should have legitimate due cause for response. The cards are in the baccarat shoe already so for example it's not a dealer's fault if the play is difficult as hell on the worst day.
- Players asking for money. Do we look like The Federal Reserve or Chase Manhattan? Fuck.
- And on and on and on and on to infinity. Stupid fucks the lot of you are. Behave, shut the fuck up, or go home.

Real players.... deal with them with extreme prejudice. First dealer, then floor boss, then right up to the most senior person you can. Get them stopped, busted, and 86'd. Don't let them cause you and others to break concentration, get all riled up, and lose.

Most of us would KO these jackasses right there on the floor if we could so it's our job to keep you in line or we will make you pay NOT us. Serious players, stay calm, be decisive, and get the casino staff on the correct and right side to deal with the situation and maintain some degree of normalcy and fair conditions.

It would be great if going forward, serious players step up and put this hammer down. Jackasses stay away if you can't respect what others are doing. If you what to go to a bar or club go to a real bar or club. If you want to run your mouth about stupid shit get on line on social media or go to a bar or club or whatever. If you want money, make it.

AND YOU ARROGANT FUCKS THAT WANT TO LEARN, DON'T MAKE SERIOUS PLAYERS PAY FOR YOUR EDUCATION BY FUCKING THEIR CONCENTRATION UP ON THE MIDDLE OF PLAY. HAVE SOME FUCKING RESPECT.

 

It would be so positive if this line of discussion gets out to all players and casino staff associated with baccarat. Sure there are times to celebrate and joke, but players are there to win and not be blindsided by these here today never to come back or ancillary types.

 

Well this is an interesting rant. This kind of activity happens in every game that I’ve noticed, not just baccarat. And as much as I would like this problem solved, the senior management isn’t going to do shit because they know these amateurs are going to fund whatever winnings us seasoned players may win against the casino...and then some! Usually they are buttering the casino’s bread. Good idea for the crusade but unfortunately we will continue to see this jackass-ery continue till the end of time.

 

Thank you. I've had excellent results in my situations. Almost undefeated. The only time I lost was when I mistakenly was speaking to a manager of another department who positioned himself and looked like an executive floor manager. This person had no say in the matter and I thought he did. Meanwhile the crybaby was crying to security trumping up his case so I was effectively speaking to a wall.

But now the gloves are off to the limit. Just the other night... great baccarat shoe, one of may favorite dealers, and a stupid belligerent drunk guy talking about unicorns and shit and how he's getting fucked in play. I played a couple hands and then specifically moved on because I didn't want to deal with with this joker that even commented on why it seems people don't like him.

Just like the guy in a real busy intersection in the very large metropolitan area with a short turn only lane time and he's texting on his phone and lollygagging and you missed the light because of his stupidity and have to wait another 5 to 7 minutes. No different,

Just like the untrained salesperson in the retail store that is rude, obnoxious and has no idea what to do except to pass the time until his or her shift is over and you cannot get the proper help or technical knowledge that you need to make a purchase at that store. No different!

Just like the person at the fast food counter that's unhygienic and refuses to do what they got to do by regulation and law when they're in the bathroom or somewhere else during their shift and the manager jerk is so submissive and so unconcerned and doesn't give a s*** about his or her job that the whole place gets contaminated. No different!

Just like the person in a library or a technical resource department that has no clue what they're even doing there and what their place is about and how to help the people that really do seek help. No different!

The list goes on and it's pretty much endless and it's today's society because of how much things have changed the past few years with the internet and social media and the whole outlook on everything. It's not just Baccarat.

It doesn't matter. Less headaches all around equates to a better opportunity. This is why once and for all, I am really more and more intent on a consistent, risk averse, slow grind approach to play such that it will be the unit size the makes the grind valuable. Then over the course of a session I can expected contained downside, zero, or some degree of win with all the hyenas and monkeys doing there stupid crap all around and I can choose to engage them or not but my grind will still move on. With this grind approach I could literally have monkeys on my back and flinging shit in my face and still put the chips at the right position. The more discretionary and aggressive a baccarat player is, the more all of this matters.

These things you mention above always happen in life, but it is the value of money or a result at risk, that is what you can lose as a result, that I consider to be most important. I remember reading a story of how a prop trader lost $16,000 trading because his girlfriend distracted him with a call about a broken hair dryer. And that was a very long time ago so probably $50,000 hair dryer today.

It is not inviting or helpful to a large percentage of players to have to be around and deal with these trouble makers. Anyone who has spent any amount of substantial hours should have plenty of experience and observations of these incidents.

 

Watch the original taxi driver and in the beginning he'll tell you, whom comes out at night and basically the only people that come out at night.

There is a fucking difference. It is difference for all the guests and staff anywhere near what is happening. Casino staff doesn't want to babysit and police this crap, and consistent players don't want the drama bullshit either. So I made this thread because ideally players will start to crack down on these incidents and casino staff typically are at the tip of the spear also.

I have seen a table get knocked out essentially for hours because of the actions of a few guests. What do think the dealers that rotate into feel when they just sit there at what should be one of the most active tables in the house? What do you think the players that have one less table to play at consider? Who cares, right...

You are in and out more quickly, but I am sure you run into and observe such madness as well.

And this applies to hosts as well. If you get any trouble makers in your sphere of influence get them to fall in line with some decent behavior and respect or get them ejected. Those pikers can go toss off at a local dive bar or play video games at home.

On Taxi Driver, yes, this is exactly why I see many players show up at 0330 through 0500 or they play day time, etc. They do not want to be around the evening guest types at all. For me, I am playing during prime evening hours usually so oh well...

I had one of those show up that was waiting for his slot in the poker tournament to open up. I was at an active Roulette table where everyone else lost their money and left. So I was still playing alone in the corner seat next to the dealer. This guy walks up and just never stops talking, including asking me questions. He had not placed a bet yet either. I had 24 numbers throughout the inside layout almost all covered with small stacks of four chips on each number. I hit the ceiling, I couldn't keep my concentration. So I raked the table of all the chips and stopped everything and asked the pest "what is it that you want to know?" I repeated myself three times. He was flat out flabbergasted. He was so shocked that anyone would do such a thing. In fact he said that he had never seen such a thing before. I just said "well now your have." I went silent. He looked to the dealer for some kind of relief. The dealer told him that I knew exactly what I was doing. I couldn't have done that if there were other player's chips on the table. The guy just walked off pissed off. I'm sure he got shut down in the poker. He was some kind of a character that has to mouth off in movie scenes of gambling situations. I'll bet that is exactly how he messes with people's minds in poker.

 

So if we ask you a question we're going to get blasted is that what you're saying? How much do you make? How often do you play? What numbers do you cover? If you don't hit how many times will you keep playing the same numbers can you please explain in detail? Do you file a 1099 at the end of the year on all your winnings or do you just screw the IRS and don't say nothing? What happens if it Casino ask you for ID? Do you eat before you play or is it better to play on an empty stomach?

 

I've level others many times, but now I make some attempt to be diplomatic. I really do want to go over to the poker side and 'play' with them, but whatever.

Two recent instances are a poker player straight running into me from behind while we were walking and not saying anything at all and me walking back to my car and looking over at someone who was giving me the worst look.
