    Chris Kirk/Brendon Todd vs An/Im
Chris Kirk and Brendon Todd seem to set up well for an alternate-shot format where one of the keys is simply avoiding big mistakes. They’re both steady players tee to green who will keep the ball in the short grass. If they can get the putters going, they can certainly score well.

The tandem put up a solid 8-under round on Thursday and was able to overcome some early mistakes. I expect they’ll be a team that can hold their position well on Friday just by playing their game hitting fairways and greens to find themselves in scoring positions, and while Im/An both played well my concern for their grouping has to do with the short stick.

So we take the (+) money on Kirk/Todd and see if they can repeat a similar performance to yesterday.

    Play —— Kirk/Todd To Win (+105)

Tommy Fleetwood/Sergio Garcia vs Tyrell Hatton/Danny Willet
Fleetwood and Garcia really have the capacity to play to each other strengths beautifully in this alternate shot format —- with Sergio seemingly back to his crisp ball-striking self (having gained 6.8 strokes on the field at Augusta last week), and Fleetwood’s ability to get the short stick cooking, this grouping might be able to cover up each other’s weaknesses very well.

On the other side, I think there’s a good chance we are seeing Willet/Hatton a little over juiced on the back of a best-ball performance that was both breathtaking, as well as wholly unexpected. The British pairing had missed the cut last year, and with neither player really playing that well this season, I’m going to ride with one of my pre-tournament favorites.

    Play —— Fleetwood/Sergio ML (+100)
