Hiya!! My main goal is to earn points on each cruise. We can use the points to book a new cruise for free so the more points the better. Points are earned on table games with a formula that multiplies average bet times play time. To earn as many points as quickly as possible, I’m looking for a craps strategy that allows for a high average bet (that can be made up of all bets on the table) BUT one that has VERY low risk so I can play as long as possible while maintaining my balance. I’m not looking to win or lose, just keep my balance as long as possible and run up those points!

I’m not the best with calculating probability so I’m hoping someone can help me put together something fun to play (lots of action preferred) with very low risk. Thanks in advance!

While you're at it, why don't you just ask for a million dollars? >:)
High average bet means lots of risk, regardless of what bets you make.
What is your "balance"? You are apparently looking for a low-volatility betting scheme.
    Cheers,

This is true on land based casinos, and it is true to a certain extent on cruise ships as well. However, cruise ship comps are also heavily weighted toward buy in and hold, so you should always buy in fairly big and if the table gets hot - salt away about half of your winnings during the hot hands in an effort to show the house a loss at the end of a game when in fact you've finished up.

Like land based casinos, you don't get much in the line of comps for table game play. You'll always get better comps for slot play. I have dozens of craps pals and clients who cruise with their wives and most of their free cruises are based on their spouse's slot play, not their craps play, although you can combine your comp offers and get upgraded cabins, etc. To get comped based on your craps play you're going to have to play fairly big, make a fair amount of high vig bets and put in a lot of hours at the table - OR - give the appearance of doing so.

One of the strategies I teach my students and clients on the Craps Cruise events I host is to get rated as at least a $100 bettor right out the gate. Getting rated a $200 bettor is even better but the $100 bet is easier for the dealers to handle. Buy in for at least $1000. They'll cut you out $500 green, $100 red, and four black. After the box gets your buy-in entered in the computer take one black chip and hold it up for him and the dealer to see and announce loudly that you'd like $96 across ($15 per number) - up and off - and all the hardways for the dealers for a buck each. With $200 you bet $192 across with $6 on the hardways - high on the 4 and 10 - $2 vig on the 4 and 10 buy bets - with $30 action per number. Then drop that $100 (or $200) black chip(s) on the layout so the box and dealer can see it. First off, one of the boxman's responsibilities is to keep track of all black chips, so he HAS to take note of it. He will immediately enter you in the system as a $100 of $200 bettor, even though your bets are "up and off." Since your bets are "off" you have no sevens exposures. Just stand there and watch a few tosses. If you decide you want to work that action - go ahead. If after a few tosses you decide you want to make it look like $66 inside - do so. If you want to drop $14 and make it look like $110 inside do that. If you want to come down to $44 inside - knock yourself out. If you want to wait until the shooter sevens out then re-set it at $154 inside (one of my favorite bets - $35 each on the five and nine - $42 each on the six and eight - every bet pays $50 for $1) knock yourself out. But the main thing is to get yourself rated as at least $100 bettor from the first bet. Every 20 minutes or so the boxman will open the computer and re-rate everyone based on their current action. If you're sitting there with $44 inside at the time and want to be rated a bigger bettor, just cut out $100 and drop it on the table. Tell the dealer you'd like $96 across, including pressing the existing bets three units. And take the four change and give the dealers all of the hardways. Now you're a $140 bettor and because you're betting for the dealers there's a good chance the boxmman will bump up your ratings even higher.

Personally, I'm currently hosting 3 - 4 comped cruises a year right now and take another 1 - 2 just for pleasure. I cruise predominantly on Royal Caribbean, but I've cruised on most of them and get comp offers from pretty much all of them. I could cruise back to back to back if I wanted to. I've cruised Royal, Celebrity, Carnival, Princess, Holland America, MSC, NCL and more.

I host the Craps Cruise events on Royal two to three times a year. Our last one was in October out of Ft. Lauderdale on Allure of the Seas down to Aruba and Curacao. We had 54 players booked on that one, although only about half were craps players. The other half were spouses and slot players predominantly. My next one is coming up in February on Allure of the Seas, sailing out of Galveston on February 12th to the Western Caribbean. I'll be hosting another Craps Cruise on MSC's Meraviglia from NYC to Bermuda on August 21st. This will be our first one out of New York, and the first Craps Cruise on Meraviglia as it's the first MSC ship to get a craps table in its casino. I'll probably run another Craps Cruise on Royal Caribbean Craps cruise sometime in late October, although we haven't picked a ship or itinerary yet. And odds are I'll do something on Virgin's Scarlet Lady and at least one or two get-together's on Carnival before 2023 is over with next year. If you're interested in any of this feel free to message me and we'll see if we can get you hooked up.
