The confusion with Craps is built into the game where you can make wagers AGAINST the Table (Pass), WITH the Table (Don't Pass) or... play BOTH (Doey Don't). Somehow novices have the mindset that if you are losing on one side of the Craps Game... you should have played the other and would have done, better. They are just confused as to WHEN to change their game strategy, if any game plan at all. Better yet... play BOTH with a dopey Doey Don't "time share" player system.

Please explain to us HOW THAT WORKS.

The idea if Craps Players are losing, playing one side or the other, or even both, what is the logic that some mystical OTHER SIDE IS WINNING. Somehow the majority believe, if not ALL Craps Players, this idea has never been considered as a possibility playing Craps at a modern Casino, Private Bank Craps before legal gambling or a Home Banked Craps game. This discussion has been going on since Craps was designed to be a profitable table game at a corporate Casino. This has been "number crunched" by the Casino and no matter, the profits are consistent. Unless you are reading some story based on a player finding a loose $1 chip on the floor and threw the pair of dice for... three days and broke the Casino's Bank, I hate to break the news to you. Someone might have just made that story up to sell you some Mumbo Jumbo.

This is the mystical aspect of Craps System preferences... NOT for the Casino, but in the mind of the player. The Casino can bank on the player's limited bankroll and superstitions as to the randomness, or not, of the dice. I emphasize the limited bankroll which is always the player's limitation. When the player has lost the bankroll... and the table turns favorable to their System... it is too late. Bad timing.

YOU as a Craps Player are in the game for the Short Duration. The Casino is in the game for 24 hours, seven days a week. Some days the money flows into the Casino Bank. Some days it is a give and take GRIND. The Craps Table has fresh chips brought in just with a request from the Pit Boss or Boxman. You... do not have that option.

Sure, I have watched and played during a hot Craps game and the table's bank of chips can get hit, hard. Ten minutes later, these same players have lost every chip won during this hot spell and some. These winning sessions always seem to be the Right Side Bettor, Pass Line Bettor runs. There are games where either side of the game did not do well. It is designed, by the Craps Rules, to be so.

Give some examples of a series of Dice Outcomes. Equal wagers and Bankroll for the Pass Line player, the Don't Pass Player and let's toss in the Dopey Doey Don't Player. YOU make up the rolls. Should be easy... or is it? Pick your favorite side of the game. Any competent Craps Player can turn your plan into sausage in no time at all. Remember... all three are playing SMART SYSTEMS. I like the Hit and Run $200- $300 System used on another Craps Forum.

Then after playing make believe, as most written Winning Systems are... then try to put this to the test at an actual Craps Table with your bankroll at work. I will promise you... you will not be that confident with real money on the line.

I do get it. Nobody wants to hear anyone saying that "over the long term of playing Craps" you will ALWAYS be left broke. Threads that offer the Mumbo Jumbo System gets a lot of attention... but it will not work. Unless you just want to play for TIME and that I DO understand.

You need a memorized tested Pass or Don't Pass System. The System must be flexible, when losing or when winning to maximize your play while at the table. This has been determined BEFORE you even dropped cash onto the layout. BEFORE. Not during or after you are broke.

You have to know when to press your bets UP, and when NOT to press your bets. You have to manage your Limited Bankroll. Limit your losses, but never your winnings. When the table's luck changes for you, it might be time to take your winnings and leave as a WINNER for once. Stay in the action too long and you will get what you deserve. A painful lesson in why the Casino wants you to stay playing... and never, never asks you to quit when winning... but to "please stand back sir, so another Player can step in to play".
