    The unrestricted area

    That’s a big NO

not the way this forum should go.

Admin worries about cross contamination of forum.

    The process is simple

Lance the boil that is the major problem.
You have a poster/posters that constantly trolls other posters threads.
Rather than admin taking the necessary steps to enforce their own rules you are letting the shameful behaviour continue in “the free , I’m going to be a kunt zone”

I will remind you all that junket king was censored out with a lying label for FAR LESS than that trolling posters

I will remind you all that beached whale WAS “de clitisized” because some “blow in” poster objects , that same “blow in” went on to be a disruptive poster and didn’t (thankfully) last a year .

As an example of far less reprehensible posters being sanctioned need we mention Jacob blaze and his farcical moving of his posts/threads to “unintelligible” section of this forum.
    There are others.

The silent majority will stay that way , this forum, imho because of the VERY fact that administration ALLOWS that blight on forums being the actions of kewlj, singer jbs etc to go and play the way they are allowed to in “the free, I’m going to be a kunt zone” .

Man up admin, sanction those posters as
    Troll
    Liars
    Racist
    Sexist
    Sock puppetry

Get this forum back to being something at least resembling some aspect of human decency.

Fair enough a poster may disagree with a poster, say your disagree post and move on , but to constantly
    Troll
    Disrupt
    Lie
    Make sock puppet
    Make race slurs
Make Unfounded accusations BECAUSE you don’t like someone etc
NOT post anything of content other than trolling etc.

NO ADMIN sort those posters out

    We DONT NEED A
    “Free kunt zone”

We want to be able to read posts by Mdawg, gizmotron, turbo genius to but name a few WITHOUT having to wade through the crap YOU ARE NOW sanctioning in the FREE KUNT ZONE

The posters that are the main problem here need to be put in their place.

ADMINISTRATION do some homework, take some time and read those threads. You can’t SERIOUSLY say that conduct is acceptable.

    Not acceptable in this century
Not acceptable in a gambling forum

THE SILENT MAJORITY will eventually just leave as there is nothing whatsoever to induce them to participate here this forum.
    Cheers

It's precisely that problem of "posters that constantly trolls other posters threads" that we are aiming to solve by keeping any such "trolling" within the few Designated Unrestricted Areas (DUA).

We always enforce our rules when we are made aware of violations. We don't read the majority of posts because we have no interest in gambling, so we rely on our members to report rule-violating posts so that we can take action.

This is not accurate at all. Member Junket King was never censored and he made multiple egregious violations of our rules, including creating sock puppets to like and support his own content. He then lied about being moderated here when he never was. That's as egregious as it gets and is much more severe than members insulting each other in the DUAs.

No members get special treatment. We also course-correct as needed. But it's imperative that members report rule-violating posts so that our rules are respected.

We allow it in the DUAs because the same members doing that also happen to be among the most experienced with gambling, so the point of the DUAs is to be a solution that works for everyone. We also get occasional nuggets of gambling wisdom from those more free-spirited discussions, which allows us to copy into its own thread outside of the DUAs for further discussion by the rest of the members.

We have sanctioned those members for violations outside of the DUAs. See here, for example.

It's not as easy as you make it seem. These members have value as they are quite experienced. But they also have baggage from previous Forums they engaged each other in. The point is to give those members an area where they can blow off steam, and by creating such designated areas, it makes it easy for the rest of the members to avoid those DUAs so that they don't need to read the vitriol. That's why we believe the DUAs are a balanced solution.

And you will be able to do so since we our full rules still apply outside of the DUAs. Simply avoid the DUAs and report rule-violatings outside them so that we can take action.

They have been. For example, see this thread outside the DUAs with multiple sanctioning of multiple members that usually participate in the DUAs (we will be cleaning it up shortly by moving the posts we've sanctioned to the Off-topic section).

It's not acceptable which is why we're trying to contain it in the few DUAs so that it doesn't spread to the rest of the site.

Why would they leave when they can simply avoid the DUAs? Again, that's why it's a balanced solution, the DUAs allow members with baggage from other forums to get it out of their system so that it's contained there and doesn't spread to other parts of the site, while ensuring the rest of the members have a clean experience by simply avoiding the DUAs. But again, it's imperative that members do their part by reporting rule violations outside of the DUAs so that we can take action.

    Thank you for your feedback.
