Does Las Vegas have your number ?

Well according to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority annual survey… it has a fairly good handle on visitors coming to Las Vegas in 2014.

Statistically … it was more married couples around 45 years in age, earning $40,000 or more, with one-third of them visiting from California. A big plus was 96% of the visitors enjoyed their time. However only 12% came here primarily to gamble.

    The visitors spent on-average:

    $281.88 for food and drinks.

    $149.77 on shopping

    $530.11 each to gamble (budgeted)

This survey information along with other tidbits of visitors data is part of an article in the Las Vegas Sun by Kimberly Pierceall, Associated Press called “Only 12 percent come to Las Vegas mainly to gamble.”
