Do yourself a favour and just stand at a table and watch the fools play that. Think outlay on all bets by one particular player only, look at % of returns versus outlay. Oh and look at how many leave with no hits.
Then reach into your own pocket and do the same then after losing and realising your an idiot never do it again . Your welcome. Cheers

    From Wizard of Odds:

    Dragon Tiger

    Introduction
Dragon Tiger is about as simple as gambling gets. It is basically a two-card version of baccarat. To be more specific, two cards are drawn, one to the Dragon and one to the Tiger. The player bets on which one will be higher. There are also some proposition bets on the individual cards. I have never seen the game, even in Macau, but the game is rumored to be found in Cambodia. It can also be played at online casinos using the services of LCB, including Bodog and software brands like One Touch.

    Rules
    1. Any number of standard decks can be used. For this analysis, I shall assume eight.
    2. Cards are ranked as in poker, except aces are always low.
    3. A single card is given to each of the Dragon and Player hands.
    4. The primary bet is on which hand will get the higher card.
    5. Other proposition bets are available, as explained below.
    Dragon/Tiger
The Dragon and Tiger bets will win if the chosen hand gets the higher card. Ties lose half. The following return table shows a house edge of 3.73%.

Losing half in the ties is what makes this a fool's game.

I know what it is - that wasn't the question. But thanks for the cliff notes version.

I've seen it offered in some online casinos, and I saw it in Macau. I like the idea of it because it's so simple: High card wins. I was going to play until I read the rules and learned about the unreasonable rule of losing half your bet with every tie. So, I didn't play because what's the point? It's just a one card version of Baccarat, except you lose half your money with every tie.

So, I just stick with Baccarat, the best game in the House. The only other game I play is Roulette, especially Single-Zero if I can find it, which of course has a worse house edge than Baccarat, but the principles and strategies are similar between Baccarat and Even Money Roulette, and Roulette is far more common on casino floors, and the table minimums are much lower.

Long time ago I played Casino War on the Vegas Strip, before I knew what I was doing with Baccarat. I can't remember the rules exactly, but I think it was a "High Card Wins" game too, and if there was a tie, then you went to "War". So, you didn't automatically lose half your bet, as with Dragon-Tiger. Casino War doesn't take much thought, so if you've been drinking (of course only a fool drinks while gambling), it's the least dangerous game to play. But it's rare to see it offered in the casino, and I haven't seen it in a couple of decades now.
