Just playing around with a simulation that I wrote. I noticed that there was a $50 minimum EZ Bac table at Harrah's Cherokee last year when my wife and I were there. This is unusual outside of California so entertaining myself by testing some ideas.

EZ Bac has no commission but on a banker win with a 3 card 7, player bets all lose and banker bets push. Slightly lower house edge than commission Baccarat. My live shoes don't have the card values, so testing randomly on my 25,000 virtual dealer shoes.

This strategy I am betting for twos (bet opposite of hand before last). $50 minimum, buy in is $10,000. Money management ... if shoe profit is greater than -($5000) and bet is either $50 or $100 then add $50 to the bet each decision. When bet rises to $150 then start adding $150 to the bet each decision (So $50, $100, $150, $300, $450, $600 and so on). If profit is above +$1000 then drop back and flat bet $50. If profit drops below $1000 then start adding the bet as before. If our next bet will bring us to -($10,000) or worse for the shoe then stop and take the loss.

I am going test in sets. 10 profitable shoes + any losing shoes. Let's go.

The second strategy did much better. Five sets, +$24,950.

Will it continue? Hmmm. Your host will love you, anyway. Lots of comps.

Like I said, just playing around with ideas.

Looks good FH! I don’t know that I’d play that at Cherokee hahaha. I was just up there last week.

Why is that? Because it is tribal?

Did you happen to notice the max bet on that $50 table?

No because I get beaten down every time I’m there! :D

I didn’t notice no but it probably was in the $10,000 range.

Ha. I understand completely. $10,000 is probably right.

Let's try Follow the last (bet same as last decision) with a lower reset target. On any loss same progression $50, $100, $150, $300, $450, $600 and so on. Drop back to $50 if above +$500 profit. Start adding again on any loss if profit drops below +$500. Same -$10,000 max stop loss per shoe. One set will be 20 winning shoes + any losing shoes.

Looks like we are just treading water.

Okay, let's try going back to betting for two's (bet opposite of decision before last) and dropping the reset target down to +$100. Gosh how many shoes would be in a set? 100? It is getting late, I will just test for a while and stop.

That was 25 winning shoes + 1 losing. Maybe I will do more another day. This seems to be doing almost as well per shoe as the +500 reset target but with less losses. A different bet selection, though. I need to test this setup further.

Keep on testing. This is looking very interesting. Maybe we can take down Cherokee after all!

I will include some shoe examples also at some point if it looks decent. Probably some people don't understand exactly how I am betting.

I tested this quite a bit today and lost the $16,300 back plus more. The losing shoes gang up on you eventually and wipe out your profit. If I come up with anything that works I will let you know.
