Hello all. Hope everyone is doing well. I have a couple of questions for all those that play against streaks.

    1. How many decisions do you wait for before going against a streak?

    2. In your opinion, how many steps with a martingale would you go against a streak is best?

Your feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance to those that reply.

You should wait for the 8 streaks to pop and then come over the top and bet against with the 8 step grand marty, hey hey.

Soxfan, are you being serious? It would take a lot of patience to wait for a 8 streak. Also isn't a 8 step grand marty over doing it?

Sound advice, you of all people should know that. Meaning you are a Marty player of experience and I’m sure you have done your wad on more than one occasion, not being nasty but an assumption on my part only.
As a former Marty man myself until my nerves got shot on the volatility of the swing of things, I often worked on a bankroll to cover the maximum number of streak I had personally encountered. So if it was a 17 player then I would do an 8 stage grand marty and hope like fuck I didn’t win on a half price banker , here in skippy township. Of course you banker commission based Marty men are screwed on an 8 stage Marty win. . If it’s an 19 banker I’d wait for 12 banks then start hitting it. Yes you need patient, the reason I did the Marty was I had no patient but because of the losses incurred and the strain on the nerves AND the fact that I could never bet into a potential streak ( Marty win, now stop and waiting for next anti streak meanwhile watching a continuing streak on the Marty win bet against the old streak) therefore missing out on a ton of cash. I changed. No problem I like money in my account not the casino employees wages.

If you understand swing trading on 4x or stock market you will understand what I’m saying. Therefore I changed from be a Marty man that loses to a bullshit baccarat player that flat bets and make money easily.
If I used to risk $ thousands just on average 1 won bet a day from Marty magic , why wouldn’t I use those same $ thousands to earn more than 1 unit a day ? You are right sometimes you don’t get to bet against the streak for days on end all you see are drops of 4 or 5 , then you say fuck it and go in at next streak of 5 and it goes 17 , you know that don’t you. Good luck to you Jon, unless you get a big unit say $100 to $200 plus the table limit to cover that unit in an 5-8 stage Marty, then you ACTUALLY have 2 or 3 EXTRA full Marty bankroll in reserve, I would change my tactics.
Regardless, good luck to you and your quest for the one “fit all” strategy. Personally I would love to see a Marty strategy that ACTUALLY works and you can ABSOLUTELY bank on. Cheers

Greetings, I have used a four-step Marty for a long time it goes something like this... Of course start with one unit base bet. Then use whatever trigger you want to use.

And if you happen to lose this first level four-step Marty, Increase your base bet to two units and continue until you recover. If you happen to lose the second level Marty, increase your base bet to three units and continue to recover.
Once you recover you will lower your base bet down to one unit.
Using this method, you will stay within your bankroll limit and within the table limit as well.

    Lol.
Yes the “whatever trigger” always good advice, yes excellent money management skills on display here. Seems to me you have a brilliant strategy and expertise. You would not by chance work for a casino would you?
Lol what could possibly go wrong. Cheers

Yes that is correct. If a person wants a more aggressive play, they may double their base bet after each level of 4-step Marty, rather than only a one unit increase. I'm sure this is nothing new to experienced players.

The example I gave was just off the top of my head, you could also wait for the 6 streaks to pop and then bet against with the 6 step grand marty. And again, you should never bet against the bankers streaks, only buck up against the players streaks as that the shrewd move, hey hey.
