Forex Forex vs. Futures on Gold

I have coded an EA that works great on Gold, but it doesn't work perfectly on real accounts mainly because of slippage on activation of orders and also while closing.
Sometimes I can get even 5 or 10 pips of slippage on Forex.

So I was considering moving to Futures, in the hope that I would reduce the slippage problem. But since I have no experience with Futures, I am not sure that would really help.
I wonder if anyone here has experience trading Gold Future contracts. If so, what would be the advantages?
And would it make it possible for me to have less slippage or totally eliminate the slippage by choosing prices directly from the Order Books?

Alternatively, would be possible to do the same on Forex? (Avoid slippage by choosing the right prices from order books?) If so what brokers would allow that, on MT5 for example?
