I'm going to catch so much hell for this lol.
The math guys are going to start posting how it's ALL nonsense - and some of it is,
some of it isn't. Read along and then throw stones if you want.

Is it possible to get free spins on a roulette wheel, that cost you nothing - just like
    a slot machine ? I mean - that doesn't seem possible.

So a quick note - if you're going to goof off with this at a table, the dealer is going home
with a headache, be sure to tip generously lol. I couldn't do it in my head (calculate the winnings)
even with a simple $1.00 bet until I worked it out on paper - then it wasn't too bad.
But most people don't bet this way - you'll see straight ups, splits and street bets.
So - here is a bet layout and then what it means....

    9.png

    Sure, "so what ?"
    But what happens here ?

Our "target number" is 17 of course and we need it to win in *on average* better
than once every 36 spins (to break even or profit) but YES there are 37 numbers
(or 38) on the table !
There's the house edge peeking in - the payout doesn't match the odds of winning.

But - what happens when #13 appears instead ?
As you'll see, your balance doesn't change at all. You win exactly what you "lost"
and your bankroll remains exactly the same.
Therefore - this is a Free Spin, a free chance to win on #17 that cost you nothing.
And what about #15, #19 and #21 ?? The same results.

Now then you have 4 spins out of 37 or 38 in the cycle that will not take from your
bankroll at all as you try to win on #17 This means you get 4 bonus spins on average
to get to your goal. So no more 1 in 36 needed, more like 1 in 40 to break even.

But what about the split bets ?
    #14, #16, #18 and #20 appearing will give you 3 bonus spins Each !
You get 27 chips (in the above example) profit - and this means the next 3 spins are free spins.
With all 4 in play you should expect 12 free spins if the numbers hit on average,
    which they don't of course.

So 4 numbers (corners) give you the spin you just had as a free spin,
4 numbers give you 3 bonus spins each (12) and the spin that just happened
was a "free" spin as well. So this means out of a cycle of spins, you should expect
20 "free" spins that cost you nothing, or make a profit even if your number doesn't win.

Thanks for reading and have a nice day !

    Ok, fine.

So the #17 winning is your target win number - and when it appears
you will win 135 units (not to mention the win was a free spin as well)

So it seems nice, but we're betting 9 units per spin here......
    135 / 9 = 15

So a win on out target number covers 15 spins and the "free" spins
added in means you lose long term to the house edge because we still
haven't beaten the math this way.
The math guys are laughing.... but now maybe how we choose our target number
    can help.

Here's a sample from RS just playing random numbers in the center column as
the target number (you can't use #2 or #35 obviously)
    example.png

500 spins at 9 units bet per spin and still in profit (barely).
The flat spots are a corner bet winning, the small spikes up are a split bet winning,
and the large spikes are the target number winning.
(14 target number wins in total for 500 spins) = I won 1 in 35.7 spins so a little better
than expected - the chart would be negative if I had won 1 in 37 of course.
So using any random center column number doesn't matter much - pick your target for a
    reason and not randomly.

Remember - picking "any" number for 37 spins will end in a win 2 out of 3 times as shown
in the other thread. You need to do a little better than that....

If you are covering 9 numbers with 1 number being the target - you can still win if
any of the other 8 end up being "hot". The chance of that are pretty good - at least
    initially.

More to come possibly - hope you enjoyed the post, good or bad.
    Cheers.

Hello Turbo Genius !! I love this post, I remember when I was playing in the Gran Casino of Barcelona a woman playing like this on one number, the session I witnessed she was loosing a lot of money, throwing hundreds each spins but she told me she also had some lucky session where she would make 10k playing the same number. She was choosing the number randomly...

You can even mix that with the horse race technique, I like this way of playing, numbers paying you free spins and when you hit your number its the big win. When you know the rhythm and changes of hot numbers you just have to be patient knowing your numbers will hit more than average at some point !!

thanks again for all your knowledge ! I really love you and I count you in my life heroes !!
