I loaned my Friend $80 months ago when she was really struggling financially(Coronavirus hadn't even existed yet when I loaned her this money). I used to get substantial free play from my Local Casinos, so when she didn't pay me back on time, I brushed it off since I got free play/Cash value from my Casinos anyway and didn't actually need the money then. After the Casinos were suddenly shutdown due to the Coronavirus Shutdowns, I knew I could no longer rely on my free play/Cash value money for a while. I politely asked her for SOME of the loaned money back and she got mad and yelled at me! O.O I was upset but politely mentioned I let her slip without paying me back for MONTHS and only asked for some of the loaned money back. She was furious. She soon calmed down and admitted she was completely out of line for blowing up at me when I politely asked for some of the loaned money back and apologized. I was upset that she blew up on me but chalked this up to a regretful incident on her part that she soon apologized for.

That's why I don't like to lend money - the time and energy spent collecting it are just not worth it.

That's why when someone asks, if I am going to help at all, I just give the person some money - less than what is asked for, and make it clear that it does not need to be paid back. This frees my mind from the worry.

BTW it sounds like this loan of yours was made in a casino. It's a bad idea to lend - or give - anyone any money in a casino. By that point the person is on a losing streak and the money will almost inevitably go straight down the tubes. And this goes for TTOs (temporary credit line increases) too - don't do it!
