Seriously I'm sure it's the same as smoking Marijuana which is harmless compared to Alcohol.

It's just Self Control and common sense and moderation.

I only bet on something that is a 100% Sure thing like this weeks football games.

Also saying you get an adrenaline rush which is like drugs..... I mean I know the game is pre determined so..LOL I'm not ripping out my hairs.

What are your thoughts? I have a friend who just buys scratch offs but he's not to bright.

I'm a noob as well to Betting sites at least.

I will bow to your obvious superior medical knowledge.
Long term excessive use of alcohol sure does damage to the liver and brain, and I see your research disallows the possibility the the equivalent use of pot and the inhalation of smoke directly in the lungs excessively will not cause lung disease and or cancer. If someone is addicted to maijuana in a similar way as people are addicted to alcohol and uses it as excessively.....according to you....cannabis inhaled into the lungs is safer.

Fair enough. I am not a medical doctor and have done nor research myself on this topic.

Gambling addiction, also known as compulsive gambling, is a type of impulse-control disorder. Compulsive gamblers can’t control the impulse to gamble, even when they know their gambling is hurting themselves or their loved ones. Gambling is all they can think about and all they want to do, no matter the consequences. Compulsive gamblers keep gambling whether they’re up or down, broke or flush, happy or depressed. Even when they know the odds are against them, even when they can’t afford to lose, people with a gambling addiction can’t “stay off the bet.”
