Hello again, this time I'm going to share with you my experience at the Golden Gate casino.
It was early February 2015,as I was roaming around to see what's so special about the Freemont experience when I stumbled upon Golden Gate casino.
    I thought,"wow, that's an impressive name!"
Outside were a lot of people from all walks of life...but I focused on some dancers who were like at the Rio, Brazil carnival.
I assume that at Vegas everyday is a carnival...!
So I got in and moved directly towards the cashier because I had to change some money.
I had the unpleasant surprise to exchange every 1 Euro for 1 US Dollar!
Anyway, I wanted to play Roulette and enjoy every moment of it, therefore I wouldn't let a minor exchange anomaly to spoil my mood!
Before I reach the roulette tables I saw some vibrant action at the craps tables and decide to take a closer look.
There were many crap-sters wearing baseball caps, I wonder if they had confused what game they were participating!
Anyway, the atmosphere was enthusiastic and I let myself to give it a go.
Next to me from the left side was a company of 2 men and 2 women of Afro-American origin.
My position was SR5 (the longest distance from one end of the table to the opposite)
The group of Afros was screaming out loud: "YO!"
They were betting for 11 (15 to 1 payout) and all short of weird bets like 12 (double 6), hardways...etc
Eventaualy my turn to roll and I had a plan to bet the last Pass or Don't Pass decision and if won to full press (parlay) it for one more time.
This was a good idea for some time...meanwhile I've threw a few times the dice out of bounds!
I look on the dealer next to me from the right side and seems to be friendly, so I encouraged to ask why the naked dancers didn't come in yet??
He replied that they will but this happens only after 6 PM (and was only 17:10)
I forgot about roulette and keep on rolling as the time passed by and I was drinking one cocktail after the other.
In the end I didn't see any dancers but I did see the casino personnel dressed like train station employees out of the 60's! This was something! :D
Eventually I gathered my crumbled existence to the bus stop and waited there for more than a hour in vain, no bus appeared! o_O
I decided to throw away my daily ticket and find a taxi, eventually I've arrived at my hotel room which was at Riviera casino near the country club (Paradise road).
By the way I've been at Riviera too, but this is another story!
Keep in touch because the best is yet to come!

    Blue,

The Golden Gate is a dump! It's like a third world casino from the Philippines. It smells bad, it's shifty, and the dealer's are obnoxious.

The Riviera has been torn down.

The next time you come to LV you really should hit the casinos on the strip. They're not dive joints like the Golden Gate.

I've heard the Bellagio has single 0 wheels and as a bonus excellent cocktails and service, perhaps next time you'd wanted to receive me there, not as a system junkie but as a fellow gambler.

Yes but the naked dancers while gambling is something you don't experience everyday.

And now you know the reason...

For starters, I wanted to check out the original downtown LV and not its luxurious but fake vitrine.
However, I'd like to visit many more casinos the next time, unfortunately my plan was restricted to 1 week only because I had already arranged to visit Boston and from there the Mohegan Sun and another big one nearby.
From the heat of LV to the snow paved Boston...what an experience!
Even if I had a whole month available it wouldn't be enough to visit all of the casinos around LV!

The dancers aren't naked, and they're not very pretty either.

Although due to some roof maintenance, they are temporarily closed down.
