    >>> "betting large groups of numbers in the short term is a winner, especially if you
reduce the exposure" <<< This is from a poster at RF. What does this mean? >> reduce the exposure. Reduce it from what down to what?

Reduce exposure = hit and run or not play for a long time at the table.

But of course it changes nothing in the final result, except time spent.

There really is no magic amount of numbers to bet. It really depends on what it is that you want to do.

For example, if I'm out with a group of friends and we're just having fun drinking standing around then we might just run a reverse Labby on the outside and let if run until it reaches the chandeliers or busts. Other times we may just bet on one or two numbers.

When I'm playing with the edge I may bet on between three to 12 numbers. It really depends on how many number I can get an edge.

@Nathan i remember on german forums there was a topic about it... with a negative edge, to resist and to bear variance the optimal fork was 3 to 7 numbers... after 7 numbers, fluctuations will be very nasty... also you could bet less than 3 numbers but variance will be very hard to bear in the long term...
