Forex Help with Momentum (12-2, 4-6)

Hi. I am trying to follow a strategy that requires me to keep an eye on the momentum - since that thread has 500 pages, I don't want to add more to it with my silly question: what is the 12-2 and 4-6 referring to?

I did some reading and momentum refers to MACD and moving averages: most likely the 12-2 and 4-6 refers to the EMA (so basically add 2 EMAs with those 2 settings) plus a MACD indicator. Is this correct? Thanks.
