Intro Hi forum, with the odds stacked against me what chance do I have for success

Hi forum, I’m Emily. I live in LA and like my family before me have fallen into a small hole of blackjack. I grew up going to Vegas every week surrounded by gambling theory books and all that comes with it. Frankly speaking I dream of becoming a tournament player or at least good enough to support myself. This of course sounds like a pipe dream I’m sure. But what would it take and how would I get started. Im turning 19 and have few casinos in my area I can play at but the odds it seems aren’t in my favor at those casinos and the min bets are 25 or 15 and I believe they hold on a soft 17 and a thousand other policies

 

That doesn't sound like a pipe dream at all. I admire you for having a plan, and wish you well in your pursuit.
