IMO where you take profit should depend on your expected drawdown, whether you always flat bet or increase stake. If your potential losses can grow the longer you play I'd take first max second time you reach new high.

At 40 spins the score is usually 24/16. So even if another repeat hits, repeats would be slow.
Here its just a number has done what advantage says could happen.
