Horse Racing Horses noob question

    My experience with betting horses is a few times to Santa Anita placing win and show bets at the window and that's about it. Never online.

    Got an idea to bet some points on the Preakness but my tickets don't make any sense to me. Can someone explain why I'm risking points for a bunch of zeros?
