'Dolly' is a common term in Roulette. It's actually a marker, that is used to mark the winning digit in the game. According to gambling folklore, the name Dolly came from the first-ever marker being doll-like. Dolly's job is to keep track of winner numbers in order to ensure payment of bets. These days I am playing live roulette on Fairplay999 a great site for Roulette enthusiasts.
