On many gambling sites there is an underlying belief that the house always wins. In fact, many won't even contest the subject! Those with such a belief must therefore believe that the math is sown up.

But is it? I read on WOV recently about Wellbush's Paradox:
    1. Negative progression sequences mean the gambler continuing along the sequence will always return to a profit, in the long run (this is theoretical math. It does not take into account table minimums/maximums, nor the size of the player's bankroll).
    2. -EV says the player always loses, in the long run.

The above two statements are a paradox. They cannot co-exist. Is the paradox undeniable proof that the casino edge can be beaten using legitimate progressive strategies, without even any AP?
