i just found out about this machine and its blowing my f****** mind

and a newer version is even better!!!

this poker machine even has its own wiki page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Libratus

this machine isn't beating poker amateurs like me, no, it's obliterating pros who've won freakin wsop bracelets..

i'm no einstein or hellmuth, but you don't have to be one to realize that any one who gets their hands on a pocket sized version of this machine will completely own online poker and nobody will be able to do anything about it. just feed this machine the current play and it will tell you how to own the online tables every time. easy money.

is this the beginning of the end of online poker?

I doubt it. Online poker hosts would find ways to remove AI with undeniable edge over human players so that they would maintain their player base.

Wow, the AI must be amazing.
Is there a way to adjust the difficulty or it just happen like that.

This will never happen. It takes away the beauty of the game.

You can program a machine/bot to be a top-rate chess player but never a top-rate poker player ... bluffing/lying is a human attribute and no computer program could imitate this effectively. I'd play against a table of bots any time and be very confident of beating them consistently :)
