To be clear, the "invisible" feature is a feature that allows members to hide themselves from publicly appearing online in the Members Online Now of the homepage when they are visiting the site.

We believe it's a useful feature for members who are stalked by other members.

If we are going this way I vote YES to this option.
No matter what cause members to go "invisible" they have every right to do it.

Hey admin, I have a bone to pick with you. I also want to be invisible, and not have my online status known, but cannot get your software to do it. I have not checked the box under privacy that would make me visible, but I am still visible.
I need to become THE INVISIBLE MAN.
Please make it so, and explain what I was doing incorrectly so that others can also benefit.

To become invisible, leave the forum. People play a lot of "head games" around here.

    Tried that, no luck.

    I wonder why?

Does it take awhile to go into effect?

    Can YOU make me invisible?

I'm only seeking invisibility, not immortality, so it's not like you need to have the powers of god.

I almost chose to leave the forum but I won't give that satisfaction to the Admins or a few people who I choose not to name. But they know who they are, I'm quite sure.
About the "head games" I think they do each other in the men's room.

We just checked and you already are invisible. What leads you to believe you are not?

You leaving would not give us any satisfaction, and if we wanted you gone, then we would not have given you a second chance after we caught you with a sock puppet. We just want you to stay on-topic and you promised us you would do that, but you're still not doing it.

    Ahh, I get it.

I thought I was visible because on my screen, it shows I am online, but I now note it is in green, whereas the others are black.

Didn't catch the distinction til now.

    Thanks.

    I noticed that too.

Perhaps invisible people can see themselves? After all, what is invisibility if you can't see it.

You "see" who is online, they don't "see" you when you're here.

I don't take this or any forum I'm on seriously, in fact I find humor in all this back & forth. Now I'm a long time member in several horse racing sites & baseball betting forums. There we have "normal" conversations 24/7 with no bullshit whatsoever.
On Twitter I have over 25,000 followers.

Maybe I miss something. Do we vote about a feature that is already there?
