Blackjack Looking for Snowbird Destination With Casinos Nearby

    Zee's road trip from Las Vegas made me think of Palm Springs CA as a possible winter snowbird destination. I will never move from the best place on earth, the good [removed, pay to advertise] U.P., but I wouldn't mind getting away for a couple of months in the winter.

    I'm interested in a low population area and it looks like Palm Springs is only about 50,000. Can anyone tell me if Palm Springs would be a good place to get away to for a month or so. I also thought Mesquite NV might be another good snowbird destination. Anybody have any thoughts on either of these destinations.
