Problem with Marty is its great in theory just not practical as people never have the required bankroll. Best to stick to 5 marty and even that is suicide. The main problem lies in LIAR. It's all fun and games until your down 5 in a row which we know will happen at some point.

Greetings, I use a 4-step Marty or a version of it. I find it's just long enough but not too long . I''ll look for a sweet spot in the shoe and will attempt to control the texture , so that the majority of the outcomes will fall somewhere within this four step sweet spot .

Hello! How long are you using the 4 step limited Martingale and are you profitable? Do you have a recovery bet in case you lost the 4 steps?

    Thanks in advance.

Greetings, money management alone is not enough to win long term, bet selection is most important.
The 4-step marty recovery I used several years ago was to simply increased the base bet amount. I would prefer a 3-step marty except that it will fail more often. This isn't a new concept. One can change the amounts wagered within the marty betting sequence to their comfort level. The tighter the bet sequence the less average win. Bet selection is much more complicated. This thread is about the marty system and will leave it at that. I've been around the forums for many years and respect the experiences of many long time posters.
