Hi, everyone. I'm highly impressed with the lineup on this site. I have to toot my own horn here. I'm a world class machine pro. Gambling machines are my niche in the gambling world. I cover everything, video poker, video keno, video line games. My background is not very impressive compared to you guys. I'm 62 years old, a high school dropout, a former freight train rider, thumb bum, day laborer. My gambling career pulled me out of all that. Back in the early nineties I was a resident of the homeless camps in Las Vegas. I worked my way up from there. I live in Montana now but still practice my trade. Many people complain about the lack of opportunity on machines these days, but for me it has just gotten better and better and better. My avatar is a picture of a highly exploitable accumulator slot called Diamond Thief.

Hi Mickey, welcome. Excuse my ignorance but I'm always fascinated when I hear that a slot is exploitable. Isn't a slot just a type of RNG with bells and whistles? Is it that you see A drop in so you know that B maybe comes next? I don't expect you to cough up trade secrets here.... Like I say it fascinates me.

In the case of the Diamond Thief slot this is what's happening. You can see the valise on the LED screen at the top of the machine. There are nine sections in the valise correspond to the nine positions the symbols can land in the screen. You shoudl see some diamonds in the valise. When a diamond symbol lands in the screen it will put a diamond into the corresponding section in the valise. When you fill the valise up you will get a bonus that averages about 100 coins. The trick to this game is you only play it when you find it needing just a few diamonds to get the bonus. Once you collect the bonus you cash out and walk because the game is back in negative mode.
