Blackjack Mohegan Sun "Casino of the Wind" has closed

    I noticed yesterday the Mohegan Sun's "Casino of the Wind" has closed. Apparently it's been closed for about two months...I just never noticed before this. It was usually open only on weekends but it's now gone. The signage is down and the entrance has been curtained off. Now there are only two sections at Mohegan.. the "Casino of the Earth" and "Casino of the Sky." I wonder if this is a reaction to the increased competition from MGM Springfield.
