Hello everyone, I understand that you're looking for a capital management strategy that can multiply in 6 rounds. The typical progression of 1-2-4-8-16-32 may not be effective due to the commission taken by the house, especially after the 6th round where the potential profit is wiped out.

If you like OG you may want to consider Ian Harmers "TURNAROUND." As an up as you win progression it has similarities to OG but, IMO, has a bit more torque in that upon a win you raise your bet by a certain percentage. Both are VERY slow but as JAE outlined could be very effective with waiting for virtual losses which is probably the best way to play either. Played straight TURNAROUND will eventually heavy big losses whereas OG will tend to grind out. TURNAROUND is a good method to begin after a bad run using any other progression.

    Cheers

I maybe mistaken but a turnaround is preformed when the arm is too short to do a reacharound

You could have just googled it! I learned this years ago. Never played it on a table but now with stadium and online it's a lot easier due to the ability to bet dollar increments for proper percentages. Easy to use live on your phone or online. I still use it from time to time. It's SLOOOOOW!!! In fact, if you saw my WL registry posts you'll see that I had lost 11 IAR one session!!! As luck would have it I was actually playing Turnaround . .. .hahahha. I was flat betting $10.00 and so lost only $110.00. Then a win so my next bet was $12.00 and sure enough I won 6IAR! 12, 14, 17, 20, 24, and now 19.00 win resolved the grind. That was a 35% strike rate with no loss. It doesn't always work that way but the method will recoup eventually.

You could use this, say just betting B (or P, doesn't matter really) or any bet selection waiting for any decent virtual loss and jumping in to resolve a fictive loss at any units you choose.

I wonder what happened to Ian?

    Cheers
