Off-Topic MrV and UNKewlJ, moribund or not moribund cows?

Of course you must understand that whenever MrV sees a post by anyone who is successful in the casinos (or anywhere else), he screws his face up into the puzzled, resentful, stupid look of a moribund cow, and then comes back with some kind of Rage Against the Successful Machine comment, followed up by how he has a couple dollars in the bank and therefore can't be such a resentful bad guy.

UNKewlJ has the same puzzled, resentful, stupid look whenever he sees posts that represent success, and comes back with long posts that aren't even worth reading but his being moribund is less a product of age than of poor health.

My great uncles owned dairy farms near the Amish areas in southeastern Pennsylvania, a few miles from those fame-named towns like Intercourse and Blue Balls. They knew what moribund cows looked like. Not many people actually do.

While the use of "moribund" was questionable, I also noticed use of the word "success" without any particular definition being attached to it. What's intriguing to me is when a person uses the word "success" and assumes everyone is on board with whatever their definition happens to be. As if everyone in the world has the same perspective on defining "success."

I suspect that when one-percenters blather about "success," what they really mean is whatever they themselves have happened to fall into. So for some prolific posters, "success" isn't about knowing how to gamble or expertise of any kind. "Success," for them, is about whatever trappings they wrap themselves in and whatever life situation they find themselves in. That's how you get very disparate folks, some one-percenters and some not, defining "success" as something they have or are. For one, it might be profligate dumping of cash to casinos and collecting watches and pretending to win. For others, it might be traveling the country in an RV and displaying various things as their own and pretending to win.

It's very, very difficult to actually win gambling. Extremely difficult. Reading flows of cards and hot cycles and stop losses and all that -- sound and fury signifying nothing. Fairy tales so people can sleep at night while immersed in a lifetime of losing.

Addiction ("By Design," as Schull's book says) is a bitch.

 

Redietz, I just made a post in the Advantage Play section (didn't even know there was one), which is along the same lines as redefining success or winning.

In the past few days at WoV, Mdawg placed a $50,000 value on his comped suites each month. Of course this is the casinos number and they severely over value everything. So if Mdawg or any comp hustler type player loses $25,000 or $30,000 but receives comped suites that the casino values at $50,000 they claim they won $20,000.

Back when the local places (Boyd and Stations) used to have buffets, they over-valued in the same manner. When I went to a buffet at say lunch time, that was priced at $8.99, and handled them a free buffet coupon from my mailer or the kiosk, they would ring the buffet up as $20, and then cancel that out with the comp, making it look like a $20 value comp. The casino over-values everything they give as comps. Doesn't mean that is what it is worth.

Here is another example. If I had a $25 comp to say the grand cafe at Stations (called something else now) and I went at lunch time and grabbed a burger, fries and a drink, that value of that comp was not $25 to me. The casino can say whatever they want, but to me, it was worth about $8, or whatever I would have spent grabbing a burger, fries and drink somewhere else that I paid cash for. THAT was the value.

 

Theoretically, based on MDawg's valuations, Singer should be at MDawg's throat because a large chunk of Singer's anti-Dancer, anti-AP schtick has been his criticism of gamblers who add food or room comp valuations to the bottom line as an excuse to keep gambling when losing their asses cash-wise. If Singer has any consistency in his priorities and logic, he should be calling MDawg out every day for counting rooms and food as worth much of anything.

I don't inhale vast quantities of comps. The most of I've snagged any given year was probably around two dozen free rooms, with the majority at Boyd. With sports betting locked in some places at a buck in comps for $800 or 1K in wagers, not much prioritization of such.

 

Wonder how MrV and Boz feel about being relegated to the roles of being UNKewlJ sidekicks. REDietz isn't far behind!

In terms of level of play, UNKewlJ's rates for about a free hot dog, but that doesn't stop him from going on and on about how it is impossible to win and get comp'ed at the same time. It's interesting too that the only person who seems to be interested in UNKewl's fictional play stories is a newcomer who actually has won for years and been comp'ed at the same time, but who is a weirdo who lives in hotel rooms with his school age children.

 

MrV, Boz, and redietz are not my sidekicks. They are just 3 of the 2 dozen or so real players and people that have called out your BS and don't believe a word of your 1/2 star rated story.

Really, the difference between the moribund cows of this forum and me, is that they can't keep their mouths shut, even if it suits them. I let them run with their theories about who and what MDawg is, and keep quiet - while at the cows' end, little by little, insecurity and the desire to "set the record straight" end up hanging them, and not just via doxxing themselves, either.

RobSinger on the UNKewl one: #1 with this guy is how you can almost SEE & FEEL the puny little twit jumping up and down, screaming like a toddler who just got his baba taken away by a big bad bully. Bonus #2? He posts long-winded, rambling drama-laced "I NEED TO set the record straight or I'll go OUT OF MY MIND!" paragraphs that never seem to satisfy, as he then repeats the same things over and over again.

As well, MDawg is actually doing it, while they're just sitting at home dwelling on what the real men are doing.

Actually, back when I was drinking, especially toward the end: that was when I earned serious money.

Not because I drank, but because I had some great cases (wrongful death, serious MVA) that wound up being quite profitable.

Before focusing later in my career primarily (not exclusively) on family law I did mostly plaintiff's personal injury work but halfway through my career I had a sort of epiphany.

I realized that although it provided me a lot of money, I hated doing the work; I realized that what I enjoyed the most was family law, primarily contested divorce and custody cases, so I focused on that and enjoyed an active trial practice: very satisfying.

It was clear to me that I needed to get in the trenches and deal with strong emotions in order to feel content: I very much enjoyed helping my clients yet seeking to destroy and discredit their adversaries.

I simultaneous wore the robes of protector and destroyer: worked for me.

Eureka: I got paid for flaming.

Now I am retired and was looking high and low for smug, conceited, arrogant assholes to flame: looks like I found one.

I live. You comment. The day you post anything interesting enough to demonstrate that you're more than star struck over MDawg, I'll comment, I don't have a problem with responding. Sad part is, almost all of what you guys post is commentary on The Adventures of MDawg.

He claims he doesn't care, read or respond. But there are 100's of cases of this phony Mdog quoting either me or someone else about me from years ago. Many years before this Mawg identity even showed up.

That means one of two things. This nut job is either spending one hell of a lot of time searching back years of everything I have ever written or was written about me. Or more likely, he is not this newer character he claims but an old recycled poster and troll.

Either way, he just exposed himself as phony, yet again. These guys always do.
