The biggest bet so far was -$1000 which won so the casino lists that as +2000 (bet + winnings) so it is a little confusing. The bank was closer to $3000 at that point.

I was not really paying attention to the betting detail and did not even notice. I might have brought it up to Bob otherwise.

That's fair, soxfan. My naivete gets a little embarrassing later. It gets worse, I am afraid. Bob was cranking out the profits every day. That's all I was looking at.

To continue, things are going well with the casino account. Bob has been ending each betting day at a new high.

Honestly, at this stage I was not paying that close attention to the details. I let Bob do his thing and he would update me later in the day with the results. The account was so far ahead by now that I did not think I could lose money. Bob was doing exactly what he promised. No losing days or even sessions that I had noticed. His AI at this point seemed unbeatable.

So Bob sends me a message late afternoon, saying that he wants me to call him on the phone when I get a chance. Later we do talk. He has the balance back up to $3680 and wants me to make another $1500 withdrawal. He is also asking for another $200 donation to Dan's church. This will make up for the time he is spending away from Dan's account to bet mine. I agree to this. Bob also mentions that he dreads logging into my account each time because he is afraid it will lock up again. But he is hopeful that this withdrawal will go smoothly as it did with the first one. Later that night I do request the withdrawal.

The next day I let Bob know that the withdrawal had been approved and the casino had sent me the money. He was happy about this and said he would send me the request for a $200 donation to Dan's church later. This was late afternoon and the balance back up to $2680 already. He is thinking that by tomorrow night I should be able to make another withdrawal.

Bob continued to mention that the casino's graphic interface was a problem. A big bet would be put in by mistake but then when he looked at the betting detail it was often not there anymore and did not affect the balance. I told him that was very strange. He said since it did not affect the balance he was not overly concerned about it (translation... he had noticed that I either was not looking at the bigger bets in the betting detail or did not care so he was not going to worry about it).

More about the casino graphics problem. Bob said that this was not his strength so he was going to hire a couple of graphic guys to modify the code for him so that no matter what the layout was, his software would detect it and make adjustments. These guys were expensive but he wanted it done right so I would not have any problems in the future when I start betting on my own.

Later that evening, I get a message from Bob. He has the account back up to $3000. He is confident that he will be back above $3500 tomorrow and I could schedule another withdrawal.

He also mentioned that the casino that he was using for his account (and Dan's) had stopped giving him any bonus play. It had come like clockwork every friday but nothing this week. The casino had also sent all kinds of things to his home, even a free iPhone, thanking him for his play. But now he was thinking that it might be time to leave for a while. They would probably be asking him to come back later. Bob said he had withdrawn $65,000 from his account and $32,000 from Dan's account in the last 65 days. He was going to look for a new casino and move the bankroll, starting fresh there.

The next day Bob asks me to give him a call when I have a few minutes. He has an idea he wants my input on. We do talk a little later. He has my account back up to $3600. Bob has this idea about consolidating the casino accounts into one. He would move his working bankroll into his new account. I could send my money and put it in there as well. He did still worry about locking my account up every time he logged in. With the combined casino account, there would a lower chance of any issues. He would like to start with $25,000 and would be pulling out $2500 per day in winnings.

My initial feelings on Bob's plan were a little negative. I was thinking that I would completely lose control of the account. I did think it would be more efficient, however. Instead of Bob dealing with three accounts, three IP addresses, and his time divided between the three, he could focus on the one account.

Bob said that it was starting to get colder in PA and he wanted to leave soon (he preferred warmer weather). His plan was to go back to LA (he had not been back since his wife passed away) and tie up some loose ends, sell the house, things like that. I asked what would happen to his AI server when he sold the house? Bob said he had graduated from Cal Tech and had already talked to them about relocating the equipment there. He was going to make a large donation to the university and they would maintain the server and its connection going forward.

Bob wanted to bring all the equipment that I would need down to our house and set it up for me before he left for California. He expected to stay in our area about a week until I got the hang of the software and how to bet with it.

Bob said he had gotten a PA Drivers License, a separate dedicated money transfer account to move the funds around, and would be getting a new cell phone through AT&T linked to both the casino and money transfer account. He would bring this phone to me later before I started betting on my own. He was also ordering the two new laptops that I would need. Bob was having the contractor build a closet sized room in Dan's house for the betting server and he would set that up at some point when the construction was complete. I could bet through that server in PA. With access to his cell phone, his money transfer account, and the betting server in PA, I would be in full control while he was in California (about 6 months).

Bob wanted to make sure Dan still got his share of the profits while I was betting ($500 per day). Later in the call I wanted to clarify, this would be $500 to Dan, $1000 to Bob and $1000 to me per day? He told me no, I would be doing all the work. I could keep the remaining $2000 per day at least for the first 6 months. After that we would talk about it.

I was shocked at this. I asked Bob if he was sure that he did not want any of the money. He said no, not right now. If he needed money he would just execute a currency trade. He could make $250,000 easy. I thought this was very generous of Bob. I was thinking that, realistically, he was a wealthy man and this casino money was small potatoes to him. It was more about the challenge of beating the unbeatable game. We ended the call shortly after that.

Later Bob sent me a message, letting me know that he was going to stop betting for the day. The graphic guys had finally arrived. They were late but they would get started talking about the casino graphics problems he had been experiencing. My account was back up to $4200. He said he enjoyed our conversation today. We covered a lot of ground, but it was important. I thanked him for the update.

Results now are $4200 at the casino + $3000 withdrawals = $7200. This was in about 9 days (although we lost one day due to the account being locked up).

    More in the next installment.

Continuing on with the story. My casino account is at a new high (as it is at the end of every day). Bob wants to consolidate the accounts into one to lessen the chance of the account being locked. Although I would lose control temporarily, I can see how this would be more efficient.

Also we are starting to get things ready so I can take over the actual day to day betting of the combined account in the near future. Bob is supplying the equipment for my home. I would have access to the betting server in PA and the AI server in California. Bob has hired two programmers to help him solve the casino graphics issue that he has been running into periodically.

The next morning Bob sent me a message and an email. He has opened a new account at another casino. He provided the website and login details to me. He says that he went ahead and purchased the new AT&T phone and activation kit but has not activated it yet. This will be the only phone that I will use when accessing the casinos. He says that he feels more comfortable doing it this way. Once we have all the money moved to this new casino, we can work off of the $25,000 bank, with a minimum bet of $25 to $50 and max bet of $375 to $750. Our goal will be $2500 per day or 10%.

That afternoon, Bob lets me know that he is ending betting for the day. My casino balance is up to $5200. He asks that I request a withdrawal of $3000 tonight. That would leave him $2200 to bet with tomorrow. He said that he is requesting a $15,000 withdrawal from his casino account, leaving some money in there to bet with until the withdrawal is complete. I do go ahead and request the $3000 withdrawal later that night.

We continue to message back and forth about various details. I tell Bob that by doing it this way he would be on the hook for any 1099's that are generated. He thinks that he has enough write offs to offset this, at least for a while. We could always bump the daily profits up in the future to help cover the taxes after that.

The next afternoon Bob sends me a message, asking if I need any other equipment for my home while he is ordering things. He asks about my internet speed.... do I need a new cable modem? Maybe a new workstation with chair and floor mat. He recommends an electric standing desk and Vitrazza glass floor mat. I was away from my phone and did not see this until later.

When I did finally see the message, I let Bob know that the casino had already sent the $3000 withdrawal to me. He was again impressed with the casino's withdrawal speed. He said that he had just stopped playing and my balance was back up to $3300. I told him that our WiFi was fine but I would do a speed test from upstairs and send him the results. I told him that my little gambling station upstairs (small desk, cushioned chair, iMac) was fine. If not I could upgrade later.

Bob asked me to withdraw the rest of the money tonight, leaving $100 in the account to keep it open. I had some bonus money in there that might be worth something. The $15,000 from his casino should arrive tomorrow. I told him that I would. I mentioned that I had $5600 ($6000 in withdrawals minus the $400 to Dan's church) that I could send today if he liked. He said yes, go ahead and send that.

While we were messaging, I sent Bob a picture of the internet speed test from upstairs at my iMac. Also a picture of the gambling station that I had. He still was wanting to order me a more comfortable setup (table, chair, glass matt). He recommended an X-Chair, they were great. So I told him, sure, if he insisted. Bob said that I should be comfortable. That in the beginning I would be spending a lot of time there. He was going to send me some links and I could pick out the styles that I liked (or my wife liked). Later he wanted to talk on the phone for a while, which we did. He wanted me to remember that this would be work ... No Fun Allowed.

The next afternoon I let Bob know that the $3200 casino withdrawal had arrived... I would send it to him soon. He said that he had received his $15,000 also. He said that he had already deposited $1200 into his new account so adding $15,000 plus $5600 plus $3200 would total $25,000. The new account would be ready to go very soon.

Later that day Bob let me know that all of the money was deposited into the new casino account. He would start betting that account in the morning. I told him that I would let my wife help me pick out the desk and chair selections and get back to him. He jokingly said "yes, let her pick out what you like." I told him married life was a compromise. I sent Bob my choices by e-mail later that night.

The next morning, Bob sent me an update. He had an easy start, $1123 for 45 minutes of play. He had to stop due to a doctor's appointment. He was having a checkup plus his doctor wanted him to get the new bi-valent Covid booster. I told him that my wife had gotten that one earlier in the week. Bob said that he had looked at my desk selection (it was a nice standing desk with a 6 foot wide bamboo top). He said it was a good choice but was it motorized? I told him, yes, it had two motors. He said good, he must have overlooked that detail. He said he would send me another update tonight.

Later that day, Bob sends me another message, his words... "I am burning up and can barely stay awake. About 3 hrs after the shot. Did your wife have any effects? I think this is going to be a 24 hrs deal...I had a fever on the first one but nothing bad on the next two...but this one is beating me up"

I told him that my wife felt bad for about 36 hours. He said that was not what he wanted to hear. He said that he had thought about putting off the booster for a while, but wanted to be safe. His words... "I am going to go crash out ... see if that helps." I told him okay, it would pass, get some sleep.

Results now (in my initial account) are $100 at casino, $9200 withdrawals = $9300.

I donated $400 to Dan's church and sent $8800 to Bob to be deposited into the new combined account.

Sounds like the story ends with Bob taking all your money and never hearing from him again...sounds like a wife in a really bad divorce

Ha. Well the narrative is still in September 2022. Six more months to go. There is quite a bit of downtime, waiting, and irregular communication ahead. So I might be able to compress more time into each installment soon.

You won't get a sales pitch from me, Nathan. There never was an AI. Just a con man who got lucky and did not bust.

Continuing on with the misadventure. Bob's betting in my initial casino account has shown good results, running a $1000 deposit up to $9300. Bob wanted to combine the accounts into one account in his name to lessen the chances of the account being locked up. This would also be more efficient (one account vs. three). He is wanting to go back to California for six months to sell his house and tie up loose ends there. I am to take over the betting of the account during this period.

Our goal is to earn $2500 per day, with $500 going to Pastor Dan and the other $2000 being kept by me until Bob is finished in California, then we would reassess the split. I left $100 in my casino account, had donated $400 to Dan's church, leaving me with $8800 which I sent to Bob to be deposited into the new account. Unfortunately, Bob is not feeling well after his recent Covid booster, and has fallen ill. I told him that this would pass, to get some rest.

The next afternoon, I get this message from Bob. His words.... "Hi, cannot stand up straight...wobbly...tried to take a shower that did not help...I had the senior vaccine and flu shot both. I don't know if that made it worse...back to bed...maybe tomorrow...I am slacking"

I told Bob that that the Senior Flu shot can make you feel awful. And we know that the Covid vaccination can make you feel bad. I recommended taking Aleve, Advil or Tylenol and to wait it out.

The next afternoon, another message from Bob. "I am still alive...but still feel horrible...talked to the doctor, he said to wait another day and call him tomorrow as long as I am not having any difficulties breathing. I sure did not expect it to last this long...I will update you tomorrow...thanks"

I tried to be supportive. I told Bob that I had gotten my Covid booster since our last communication as well.

The next afternoon, another update. "I landed up in the hospital..not really serious, just got very dehydrated from sweating so much and swelling in my neck gave breathing trouble.. but I will be out in a couple more days. Then back to work, I have a number of days to make up. I hope you are feeling all right and not having any bad effects. One of us needs a break. Will send you an update tomorrow. I am surrounded by vampire they are always trying to take my blood. If I misspell things my hands are real shaky and tubes."

Again, I try to be supportive ... speedy recovery, that sort of thing. He asks how I feel. I told him about the same as the last booster, body aches, some sleepiness, some brain fog and dizziness. It will pass, I will just drink more coffee.

I check in with Bob every day if I do not hear from him. I will try to condense things a bit here....

Bob thinks he will be able to leave the hospital Tuesday. Everything is blurry. Cannot see straight. Like tunnel vision. He cannot sleep because they keep waking him up around the clock to do blood draws. He is waiting for lab results. Bob wonders if he will have permanent side effects. He may just have to ship all the equipment to me early and let me get started betting.

More updates. Bob's vision is still screwed up. He is retaining fluid and his oxygen level is low (he is on oxygen now). He was just starting to get his taste back from his previous covid infection (7 months in the hospital), now this setback. His voice is completely screwed up. The doctors think he had a reaction to the Bivalent Covid vaccine.

Now Bob says they are giving him antiviral drugs and constantly adjusting the dose. That is why the blood draws are so frequent, to check the levels. He said his labs are improving and the worst may be over. He wants to get out of the hospital and back to Dan's house. He said the workers are still remodeling and the graphic guys are working on their project as well.

Bob is still hoping to come down to our house after Thanksgiving to set up the equipment and show me how to use the software. I told him that my wife and I were trying to think of a nice place for him to stay with good dining choices nearby. Maybe the local Marriott. He says that is fine, whatever my wife suggests. As long as it has a nice shower he would be happy. Bob says he is looking forward to introducing me to the software. He thinks I will find it very interesting.

These daily updates go on for a while. Finally Bob says he is going home from the hospital. His eyesight is still very blurry and he cannot really talk due to his throat issues. He is looking forward to putting me to work betting. Then he can lounge, lol. I told him I was ready. His reply... "You say that now wait until you are up at 3am because you do not want to stop. The novelty in the beginning". I told him I would figure out some sort of routine.

The next day Bob lets me know that he is finally out of the hospital and back at Dan's. His words... "Just go home...free from the vampires. All I want is a hot shower and bed for real. I am not even looking at all the work until tomorrow or the next day. The construction workers made a alot of progress but I have to see where the graphic guys are."

I told him that was great. To take it easy for now.

    More in the next installment.

Yep as soon as I heard "I sent Bob $8800" I knew it was game over. All the sudden every excuse under the sun comes and he probably ends up dying and his wife text from his phone saying I need to use the money for funeral arrangements Wonder what the book title will be? "Bob, the slickest scammer I ever met"

Ha. Don't give Bob any ideas. He might use it on the next mark.

Things rock on in predictable and sometimes ridiculous fashion until late January when there are some interesting developments. I force a resolution of sorts in March which is acceptable but not ideal.

Even the limey and the dumbske wouldn't do anything that retarded. I have a feeling that ypu was scam by the al-relax. The whole thing just seem like his style, hey hey.

I had a chance to look through all the wagers the last few weeks. I see three at $1000 mixed in there. I just was not paying attention, unfortunately. Pretty sure this is a different guy than your airelax. Lots of sharks out there swimming around.

Continuing on, Bob has control of our combined bankroll now. Unfortunately he had a bad reaction to a Covid Booster and spent about two and one-half weeks in the hospital. Bob is home now but is still recovering.

So I am checking in with Bob every day or so to see how he is doing. He reports that he is still sick (but improving). His vision is very blurry. This vision issue is driving him crazy. He can see images but has to squint very hard to read anything. After a few days he says that he has talked to a specialist in LA who then referred him to another specialist in San Francisco. The guy in San Francisco has run into this before with Covid patients. He wanted Bob to give it about a week and if it did not start to clear, there was a procedure that could be done with multi-frequency lasers that can correct the problem. That doctor sent Bob to Pittsburgh to have some tests done then they would talk again.

In a later update, Bob has resigned himself to the fact that he will need to have the laser procedures done. He is okay with that. In the meantime he is trying to get things ready for me to start betting on my own. The small server room in PA was complete. I was happy to hear this and told him that I continued to appreciate his generosity in this area... Bob's response ..."And we are a team this collaboration will benefit both of us. You turned out to be the perfect person to appreciate what this can do and also to work with. That is a rarity for both of us to come together. There are so many overlaps in both of us and the particular points in life this will work out tremendously."

I thanked Bob for his comments. I told him that I was still pinching myself to make sure that this situation was real. He said "We could not script the way this came together, just slight delay due to vaccinations." He said that once he has his vision fixed, then we would be busy.

Another day, another update. Bob is explaining that Dan will drive him to the airport. Then Bob will fly to San Francisco and will be picked up at that airport and be taken to their hospital. The Doctor there says he has had extremely good results with his procedure, especially with patients with no previous vision issues. Bob was thinking now that his condition was more of a nuisance than a concern.

A few days later Bob lets me know that he has landed in San Francisco. He is waiting to be picked up. He cannot see his phone very well, so will be using a laptop instead while there. I told him that was great, that I had been wondering about him. About three days after that I try messaging Bob. He said the nurse was sending this message for him. He had eye patches on and could not see. They would begin the next morning with the procedures.

Another few days pass. Bob says that they are telling him that the procedures are working but they can only do a tiny area each day. His eyes are covered still so he is basically blind during this time. Bob says he has a new appreciation for people who cannot see. He apologized for the delay. I told him not to worry about me. To heal and things would fall into place later.

Another few days, basically the same message. The procedures are going well, just a really slow process. The doctor says he will have uncompromising vision once the process is complete. One of the nurses is kind enough to send the updates out to me.

So time passes and we are getting close to Thanksgiving now. I send a message checking on Bob. I ask if the doctor has given him a time frame for completion. Bob responds that they think 23 more days. It is going well just very slow. He wishes me a happy Thanksgiving and is hoping he will see me around Christmas. He thanks me for checking up on him.

Now I am checking on Bob once a week. In one message Bob says the procedures are almost done and he will be so glad. The doctor says things are going exactly the way they want them to. Another week or so and I get this response to my most recent message .... "Hi still going well after effects are getting worse but I should be done on Tuesday I will be so happy then a day or two to check and the I will be able to leave should be out of here for Christmas Hang in there I will be there soon."

Okay so now I am thinking that Tuesday is December 20th and this might all be over soon. On December 23rd I send this message to Bob. "I guess you have had your final treatment by now. I hope you are pleased with the outcome. Wishing you a happy holiday!"

By this time I am wondering if I am being scammed. I have had this thought off and on but of course was hoping for the best. The very next day after Bob took control of the combined bankroll, he suddenly is ill and now it is over two and one-half months later. I am thinking that now will be the real test. The laser procedures are over so if suddenly there is another delay I will know that my suspicions are most likely confirmed. Hopefully not. Hopefully, Bob will regain his vision and we can continue on with our collaboration.

On Christmas Eve, December 24th, I receive this message....

"Hello, this is Dan, Bob's friend. His blood pressure started spiking on Monday and he was having seizures. The doctors had to put him into a medically induced coma until they could get in under control and figure out what happened. I just flew here Friday night but I have to go back right now due to all my obligations with my parish.

I do not have much information as of yet.

He left instructions for me to send you a bunch of things if something happened.

I will have more info after the holidays. Let see what his condition is after that then I will follow his instructions when my schedule slows down.

Please take care, I know he cares about you.

This is not a good way to start this holy season.

God bless. I will keep you updated."

Continuing on with the story, Bob's friend (Pastor Dan) unexpectedly sent me a message with information regarding Bob's current condition. Bob is now in a medically induced coma in San Francisco because he was having seizures and his blood pressure was spiking. Dan says that he has to fly back to Pittsburgh due to his obligations with the parish but will keep me informed. Dan has instructions to mail me a bunch of things if anything happened to Bob, but he wants to wait until after the holidays to see what Bob's condition is at that time.

I had been dreading another delay like this. I knew that Bob's laser procedures were due to be completed by Christmas. Another delay would probably confirm my suspicions that I was being scammed. Now it has been almost three months since Bob took control of the bankroll. I was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt but it is getting more and more difficult to do so. Would Dan actually send me the equipment that Bob promised? If so, how long would the server be functional if Bob never really recovers? Is there actually any AI server at all? A lot of questions run through my mind.

Then in early to mid January, my elderly Mother becomes very ill, spends a week in Intensive Care (with me and my siblings spending 24/7 with her during this period) and then passes away. Now we arrange for the funeral, go through that and try to figure out what to do next. This is a very tiring period for all of us, both mentally, physically and emotionally. So I was not thinking about Bob or baccarat during this time.

In the latter part of January, however, it occurs to me that there might be other forum members that have been duped by Bob as well. I reach out a bit and do find one poster who is in a similar situation. This forum member wishes to remain anonymous but I will call him/her 'Alfred'.

It turns out that Alfred also deposited $1000 into a casino account and let Bob take control of the betting. However, in Alfred's case, Bob lost the $1000 fairly quickly, leaving only $5 in the account. Bob blamed this on a software error. He said the casino had a bonus message popup that confused his software, which then started to flat bet $100 against a player streak until the account balance was erased. Bob said he would replace the $1000 but then stopped responding to Alfred's messages.

Alfred said that Bob was extremely detailed on and off the forum so he had high hopes that the AI was real. He shared quite a few of Bob's emails with me. Alfred had also done some digging and found that Bob had a criminal record. He sent this information to me as well.

It turns out that in the early 2000's Bob had defrauded a man who was visiting family in PA out of $25,000. The poor fellow was talked into cashing in his life insurance policy so that Bob could help him invest in a new green energy project in NY. The return would be substantial, with a monthly payment for the rest of man's life and beyond. Bob ended up depositing the man's money in his personal checking instead of investing the money for him. The FBI got involved and Bob was eventually convicted of wire fraud.

Some years later, Bob was apprehended in California when the vehicle he was riding in came up as stolen when the plates were scanned by an automated reader. Bob was wanted by the PA authorities after he had escaped from a halfway house about a month earlier where he was serving out his sentence for wire fraud. When the car was searched they found a loaded .45 caliber handgun, over $10,000 in cash, as well as numerous ID's, debit and credit cards, all in the names of other people. Bob was booked for suspicion of auto theft, possession of fraudulent debit and credit cards, possession of a gun by a felon.

I decided to call Bob directly. It goes to voicemail so I message Bob, asking for an update from either him or Dan. The reply... "Your message was sent to me via the backup. I just saw it. They still have in the controlled coma with the intention to bring him out of it within 3 weeks. They feel the blood pressure will be under control. I plan to go to see him on Monday morning. I will update you that evening. I have not seen him since Christmas."

I reply to "Dan" that I am looking forward to his update on Monday evening. I was not really expecting another unprompted update, but was surprised to receive one right on schedule. The update was as follows... "Hello he is still under. He has lost a lot of weight and is very pale but seems stable. The primary doctor say they will bring him out of it in a couple weeks. They feel that he will be stable and should have no problems coming out of it. I will come back then. I do not see anything else that can be done until they wake him up."

I almost mentioned my communication with Alfred in response but decided to play along a bit longer to see what would transpire. I thanked Dan for the information and asked him to keep me updated as often as possible.

To continue, Bob is supposedly still in his medically induced coma, according to "Dan". I have in the meantime been in contact with forum member Alfred who was also taken for $1000 in a similar swindle. Alfred has shared some information with me that he was able to uncover about Bob's past criminal record.

As I mentioned, I have not yet confronted Bob with this new information. I am surprised that he is still responding to my messages. Maybe he has future plans for me using a new scheme he is cooking up? I am curious to see where this goes.

I wait about 45 days and no new communication from Bob or Dan. It occurs to me that it is now 6 months since Bob first appeared on the forum with revelations about his Baccarat playing AI. I decide that I have had enough with this guy and will be more direct and less amenable.

I make a call to Bob's cell. No answer. I then send a message to Bob (also an email) stating that I tried to call him but that he sent it to voicemail. I mention that I have been in contact with Alfred who had a similar story of a $1000 casino investment which was lost fairly quickly. That Bob had promised to replace the money but then stopped responding to communication.

I went on to say that despite my hopes, I see now that it was all a ruse. I ask Bob to return the funds that I sent to him as soon as possible. That the amounts in question qualify for felony theft. I told him that I am aware of his previous incarceration for fraud as well as escaping from the halfway house. Since we are in different states, I mention that the FBI would be the agency to contact. That at his age (now 71) I am sure he would want to avoid another incarceration. I ask that he do the right thing and return my funds at once.

About 2 hours later I get this response... "He has only been awake for 2 weeks and since then he has had 2 heart attacks he can barely speak and his hands are shaking badly. I can't understand what he was trying to say other than if you need money he would be happy to send you what he can from here he only has about a 1k in PayPal if you need that I can do that on my next round in 90 min. Send a yes or no".

I respond by asking Bob to please stop with the charade. That I sent him a total of $8800 (I was ignoring the $400 that I sent to Dan's church) and to please send this amount to me as soon as possible. I told him that he had been stalling for 6 months.

About an hour later his response... "If you need money today I can send you a gift of 1k today if that helps you".

Again with the $1000. I thought about it for a bit. I responded by telling Bob that it was not about need. It was the principle of the thing. He had misled me, stole from me with this grift about a nonexistent AI. I told him that my initial investment was $1000 so I would agree to $1000 if Bob would agree to refund Alfred's investment as well. I received no response the rest of that day.

The next day I tried to call Bob again. No answer. So I message Bob, telling him that I had called but he had sent it to voicemail. I told him to return the money he stole from me back to my account. I went on to say that I was in contact with Alfred and he is expecting his money back as well. I told him to do this today.

About twenty minutes later he does respond saying that he would be happy to send me $1000 but he needed time to move funds into his money transfer account. He would try to get my payment to me the next day but Alfred's would probably take a few more days. I told him 'Very well, we will be waiting".

Alfred and I had been messaging back and forth, talking about this and other things. He had pretty much written his $1000 off and was happy that it might be recovered. He was curious about my figure, $1000, he thought that I had mentioned sending Bob a lot more. I told Alfred that my investment was only $1000, I was okay with that.

The next day, I discover that I have indeed received a payment of $1000 from Bob. The thief actually sent me my investment back. I messaged Alfred, letting him know about this. I told him to expect his payment in a few days, hopefully. Alfred sent Bob a message and email, explaining the best way to send the money to him. He also told Bob that if all else fails, Bob could send the payment to me and I would forward the money on to Alfred.

Two mornings later, Alfred sends me a message saying that Bob was unable to send his investment back via his preferred method. Bob said that he had sent the money to me instead. I check my notifications and see that I did receive another $1000 payment from Bob. I had planned for this in case it happened and was able to forward the money on to Alfred the same day. So after 6 months it was finally over.

In the end I still had the $100 in the casino account plus my $1000 investment back. $1000 in and $1100 out so I made +10% on this fiasco. Alfred had $5 left. $1000 in, then $1005 out so +0.5%. It could have been worse, I suppose.

Bob, on the other hand, did quite well. If you count the $400 that I sent to his alter ego "Dan" he cleared $7200 even after returning $2000 to the victims. You cannot even calculate his return since he had zero funds of his own invested in the grift.

I guess this is the last installment.... the end of my story. If there was anyone else that was swindled by Bob (RZ10000) please feel free to contact me by private message on the forum. If you don't have messaging capability, you can request that I message you instead. In this or any thread. Whenever and wherever is most comfortable for you. I will tell you what I know.
