    Hi all,

First of all let me introduce a bit about myself. I've started to play Bac excessively for roughly 2 years.
I started out so well, sometimes winning 18k in a month. But of course I've lost much more than that ever since.
Bottom line is right now I'm on a very long losing streak. Much of that must have been me playing too much. Plus my psyche is weak right now since I've been losing big.
The point of this post (diary type) is my last stance against this game.
I give myself 2 more months. (With each session's outcome will be posted here).
If I don't make a profit I'd definitely consider retirement from this game. (Easier said than done).

If you're good/great Bac player, please keep an eye on my post. Please give me inputs as to where I need to improve on. I'll try to be as honest as possible when it comes to assessing my play.

I really APPRECIATE all your inputs going forward.

P/S I'll start posting my outcome in this same thread. Please stay tuned!

Don't give up or give in.Patience and tenacity is what's needed with Patience been us gamblers best friend.I'm a baccarat player myself and have had decent wins but losing streaks do happen, things just don't go to plan sometimes and it's horrible. The old saying ' nothing that's good lasts forever ' I think of fairly regular and it's certainly true when it comes to gambling. We just have to make the winning streaks really pay us well.I will watch your thread with interest and share my thoughts accordingly.Best of luck!!losing streaks will pass!!

Thank you for replying to my thread.
It's good to have a third voice sometimes. Of course just like most of "addicted" gamblers, sharing with family or friends is NOT an option anymore.

My gambling problem started way back since the Poker Stars days. But I did better in poker than this.
Now I just can't grind in casino poker. So bacarrat it is.

I've learned/developed some decent systems that can profit me $300-$500/day.
The problem is I can never take it home.

By the way, I'm not here to talk about systems. In fact, I'll rarely discuss about how I play the game of bacarrat.
I'll mostly update my daily routine & most importantly, the outcome of each session.

I'll also discuss my mental state during/after each session, which I believe is my downfall.

When I'm on my way to the casino, I think/plan all the right things. The first 2-3 hrs usually have me ahead 200-300.
Then I kinna forget about the big picture. Start betting better with "house money" mentality.
Always ended up losing that & all my bankroll. Almost ALL THE TIME.

Please help advice me on how to overcome this.
Like I said my psyche is very weak right now. Of course that's due to gambling addiction.

I really don't think I can stop at once now. I need to make some $ now since I lost my job 2 years back.

But this isn't working & I need to do this the right way.

It's stupid to come here & ask for advice but I'm at the point of giving in, so all your inputs will help me.
I just need a morale boost & start from the get go. (Where I won $300/day for almost 20 days straight to start my Bac career).

Now it's more like 20 days losing straight.

    Please help!

Just want to add that I have problems with self control, self discipline at the moment.

I'm in a mental fog now if you know what I mean.
My challenge now is to win $300/d again for a week. Then adjust accordingly.

Since I posted here after each session I hope I can keep up with it.
I'm rather a very competitive person so hopefully by posting here I'll try to keep up with some good plays to keep this thread alive.

Because if I lose everyday like the last few months then there's nothing much to write about.

The very best thing that i could advise you to do is Stop!!stop gambling. The best thing is to get out of the habit is either playing sport or try to get employment of some kind. This will keep you busy and take your mind off gambling. This is not a good situation you are in.You can do it!!you have to be determined. And it will make your life ten times better.

    It'll get to that point.

Quitting is not an option now either. I have so many responsibilities now.
However, my goal is to quit at the end of this year. (Really, I've put this in writing as I've planned my next three years).

By the end of July I'll have 10k coming in (on a project that I've been working on for 2 months). I'm a software developer btw.
When that happens it can take care of the billings & debts.

Only then I can start working again & ease off on the gambling.
I've thought about banning myself from the casinos and joining Gambler Anonymous. But I've been putting off on it.

Right now I'm in the vicious cycle of needing money to pay stuffs --> play with "must win" mentality --> that's why it's tough.
Because I'm playing with $ I can't lose, then in turn lose it all because I played partly scared.

However, because I have a very good strategy/system that has been proven (note that no system works 100% of the time. Mine works 70% of the time with will earn me $300-500 per three shoes on average).
That's why it keeps me hooked in.
The problem is that I can't seem to cash out ever until going broke (when I abandoned my system & play freestyle with "house money". Not really going on tilt but play rather loosely & lose all).

Ex: Last week I was very discipline for 2 days straight. When I got to +$500 profit/day I went home.
The 3rd day I lost discipline & lost $600 rather quickly. Next day same thing & it went downhill from there.

I know from the outside looking in, it's easy to just say: "Quit gambling". It's an addiction & it's hard especially now when I need $ to pay stuffs.

    To sum it up:
    1) I can win if I play with my right mind.
    2) I need to be discipline to take the winnings home. Maybe just 200-300/d for a week & have the groove going again.
    3) Pay off some debts/bills.
    4) Then start working again. (I can find work not too hard base on my past jobs).
    5) Then only gamble as a hobby sometimes, maybe once/twice per month.

    Any suggestions besides quitting?
    Thanks

You definitely need to take a break then, maybe a month or two or few weeks without gambling.I had a bad losing streaks 3 months ago I was down 1200 euro in one weekend!I was in the same frame of mind that you are in and anxious to get a win.But I took a break for two weeks and didn't bet I used that time to think where I went wrong, strategy, staking plan review and looked at my financial outlay.I knew I would never win when I'm not in good humour or stressed and I done the right thing!! I recouped the losses in May and I'm almost 1500 euro in profit now.TAKING A BREAK IS THE ONLY WAY I ASSURE YOU!!!But a losing streaks is always lurking and I'm vigilant.

Thanks for ur replies Baccarat man,

Seems like there isn't alot of traffic to these forums?
Yes your advice is definitely the right one. Anyone with a right mind will go that route.
But like I said, it's hard for me to stop now since I do need to make some quick $.

    First session result:
This is over the past 24 hrs.
Since my gambling budget is really low right now I only brought $600 with me.
Went Friday night was a mistake because it was crowed & it took forever for a hand to be dealt.
Also too noisy I can't focus at all.

Grind my way & lost $500 in 10 hrs (small breaks in between). I went to sleep. Only have $100 left.
I started losing right away, not like other trips when I won first then lost back.

So it was definitely a bad experience.
I woke up with $100 and fortunately, was able to win the $500 back.
I gave up & went home. Happy to be even for the first session.

    Session 1's notes:

    1) Weekends are bad. All the pretty chicks walking by didn't help either.

    2) Didn't use my system. So I played free style --> losing $500 from the get go.
(note that I need $100 units to play my system safely. I didn't have enough. So went with free style betting & lost).

    3) There are opportunities for me to win $300-$500 still. However, I didn't capitalize on those.
I guess I used to play long hours & now just wasting my time watching good runs without betting. Then when decided to bet, the good run was over.
If I was just using 1-2-4 units betting on good trends I'd be up that much easily.

    4) I know quitting is the best thing for me to do. But since I'm committed to try this for 2 more months. I'll do my best.

Will report 2nd session later. I need a day off to sleep & recharge.

I have had good luck with setting win/loss limits and using the Baccarat Winner System. I believe it helps me keep my head so that I don't plunge bet. So far I am up 24K!

Hey man my only advice is you have to be dicipline, you know the person who use a system to win in baccarat is not a gambler, you are an advantage player, we dont do gambler shit which is want to break the bank when they play and betting their ass off, have you tried panacea tko system by jay silva? It was a good strategy in my opinion

    1) What do you do when you are at the table? do you stay for the full shoe? that's your first mistake. Limit your stay at each table to 20 hands.
    2) How are you betting? if you answer Martingale then Yes, you need to retire from the game and find a real job.
    3) Are you aggressive with your betting progression?
    4) Do you follow patterns?

Hi KeepTrack! It's been a long time since you wrote this post, but I also want to give you advice on how to act.
First, stop playing for a while, take a rest, gather your thoughts, think about what mistakes you made and draw conclusions. The main thing is not to forget about patience and deal with self-control before returning to the game. This will help you not to lose even more money, and maybe earn something.
You did not write what strategies you use during the game. Don't use Martingale and Paroli strategies, as they are very risky.
Try the 1324 strategy, it will allow you to win something in the short term strategy. But do not lose your head and finish playing on time.

@Ethan Silberstein What is 1324? Is that a progression? 1, if lose, then 3, if lose, then 2, if lose, then 4?

I think it's a positive progression bet 1 win, bet 3, win bet 2 wins, and bet 4. If you lose, continue to bet 1.

At the game of Baccarat the MM strategy is of utmost importance.

It is up to the individual when to commence betting and when to stop and

when to resume betting after a loss.

I hate to hear these stories because every gambler has been there, the key is to learn from it and move forward, when things go bad it is so hard to take a huge break, it feels like you are lost in space and no where to turn, clear your head take a break this is a must, i keep notes and go over these again and again even when winning follow everything you do, never never let your guard down, some times its just a matter of keeping your mental edge up at all costs
