New Bonus Crap bet: “Repeater bet”

The Suncoast casino & Gold Coast casino in Las Vegas ( Boyd group) now have a “REPEATER BET” on one of their crap tables. This “REPEATER BET” requires a shooter to roll repeating numbers from 2 to 6 before any Seven . (the numbers 2 thru 6 do not have to be rolled sequentially to be counted)

However, the Seven (even on the comeout) makes all repeater bets lose. All comeout numbers 2 thru 6 will count toward the repeater number.

Prior to a new shooter's comeout roll, bets must be placed with the boxman ... on the numbers 2 thru 6 or any individual number … cost is $1 to $10 on each number selected.

    Simple Repeater bet terms:
Only numbers rolled 2 thru 6 are counted fo the repeater bet ... before any Seven .
Numbers 8 thru 12 add no value to the repeater bet.

    Requirements for Payouts:
The number 2 (snake eyes) needs to be rolled twice for a $40 payout for each $1 bet.
The number 3 needs to be rolled three times for a $50 payout for each $1 bet.
The number 4 needs to be rolled four times for a $65 payout for each $1 bet.
The number 5 needs to be rolled five times for a $80 payout for each$1 bet.
The number 6 needs to be rolled six timess for a $90 payout for each $1 bet.

    Conclusion:
My understanding is that these bets have a 18% to 24% house advantage. My recommendation .. Avoid. Like most gimmick side bets .. they are hard to capitialize-on .. eventhough their payoff may be enticing.

    Problem:
It requires the box to be diligence in keeping track of rolled numbers & mark the special layout .... forgetfulness and/or laziness seems problematic.

Tinhorn Gambler - good to see you !! ... normally this bet would be fun in most casinos, however Gold Coast has commissioned a new set of dice just for this new bet o_O Gold Coast has been using 2 sets of 3-digit numbered serial dice for over 5 years, until this bet was installed. (I do not have enough data to determine if Suncoast is doing anything similar)

Now Gold Coast has a brand new set of dice that are 4-digit serial numbers with a skinny small pink font .... of course these new set of dice are unbalanced to favor the higher numbers on the table so the House Advantage on this repeater bet has been increased more than the normal math would suggest

The 6, 8, 9, 10 and 11 will consistently roll more often than their smaller sister numbers .... it's not even close .... local players know to increase their Bonus Bet on the 6 as that bet will payoff almost 4:1 more than the other Repeater bets (2,3,4,5) ... most 6s thrown are of the 5/1 variety .... most Hard 6 bets do not even break-even paying off at only a 5% clip, less than any other Hardway bet on this Gold Coast table

Also, you can tell that Gold Coast is related to Sam's Town  as they do NOT let you repeat this Repeat bet on the same shooter after a Come-Out 7 unless the 7 was on the very 1st roll .... in other words if the shooter tosses an 11 then a 7, all proposition Repeater bets are losers and cannot be bet again until the next shooter o_O What other Casino will NOT allow any bet offered in the casino (especially a proposition bet) to be bet again, other than Sam's Town and Gold Coast once it loses ?!!

... what Gold Coast has done by inserting these newly commissioned unbalanced dice that favors higher numbers blows a cannon-ball hole into the Steve Heavy Haltom camp theory that casinos do not purposely insert certain types of biased dice onto the tables to increase the House Advantage.

Harley .. Thanks for the invite.
The Suncoast also does not allow this repeat bet on a same shooter Seven. From what I understand this was the action that approved by the Gaming commission.

Your observation with High numbers being rolled are similar to my findings. The ratio of High numbers were more than three to one in my short trials.

Additional proof to my statement that Gold Coast is using specially commissioned Biased dice on this Repeater Bonus Bet table that favors the larger numbers - This Data is only from the Gold Coast Repeater Bonus Bet table with the new 4-digit pink serial numbers:

    Point - Passed Percentage Rate*

5 - Only 20% of the 5s established as Points successfully Pass, 80% fail or DP

6 - 71% of the 6s established as Points successfully Pass

8 - 50% of the 8s established as Points successfully Pass

9 - 75% of the 9s established as Points successfully Pass

10 - 57% of the 10s established as Points successfully Pass

    * of course this is data shared with me from various playing sessions, not 100% of the Casino working hours

.... It's harder to make the Point of 5 when so many of the 6 and 5 die faces keep occurring on so many rolls

BTW, where are all those players like irish, Heavy, SnakeEyes, and Mad Professor that say they can be $$ millionaires just playing the DP or Don'ts with Biased Dice

rongarm10 - other than SnakeEyes, who is a new Vegas resident, the other so-called craps experts and wannabe millionaires come to Vegas probably less than twice a year and the other fiction writer cannot prove his presence in any Live casino for years

BTW rongarm10, even though I have never had the pleasure of meeting or speaking with you, I do appreciate your sensible post of reason and logic on that other board - even though your post was deleted on that censored craps board

Harley, You are one Tough Cookie!! Even though you are a Straight Forward, "In Your Face" Type of Guy...... I have PERSONALLY found a LOT of what you profess to be True, Concerning Biased Dice. Sure, we Don't want to believe it exists UNTIL it slaps you in the Face..... And Your bankroll is Completely Decimated!!! It's funny how everyone wants to label you as a "Quack", but I have to respect a Person that walks the walk, & has been doing it for Many Years on a DAILY Basis!!!! No Seminar fees, No Book deals. No "After Glow", or "Hook Up" fees. It's easy for some to criticize Your findings when they Only play 3-5 Times a year, with "After Glow" Money that they've Fleeced from their Students. Hell...... I'd call you every Liar in the Book, & call you a "Nut Case" if I had the availability to lose "Other People's" Money(after Glow Fess) instead of my own Money on the Tables. I say: Continue to do what you do best........ Get the Friggin $$$$$$$$!

And, that is exactly when it hits you that, you been had!

You examine everything you did at the craps table, every move. First you think it was just terrible bad luck. But it was not just you. You recall:

Everyone was losing, Seven-out came quick,
Nobody could seem to ever make the point, it was like a rare event if anyone did.
Rolls where short, lots of sevens on the coming out rolls.
You tried to shoot the dice as yo know now, but they seemed to defy all attempts.
You go back in your mind and examine your bets, and how they where conservative and you did not make any wild crapper bets,
You know in your mind that the beating you just took was like some bad craps nightmare and hope that what just happened WAS only a nightmare

Later you come to realize that something was off. Could the casino actually cheat?

Is there a gaming commission that checks this stuff out?

Who is it that then regulates the Indian Casinos.

Well, it does not take much to learn that there is no regulation in the vast majority of the Indian Casinos and they can do as they please.

So, you come to the conclusion.... That they cheat!

BINGO!!!! You must have been standing next to me 10 yrs ago when I lost a Shit load of $$$$$$ LOL What's truly sad is that MOST Casinos(not just the Indian casinos) operate with Total impunity. Gone are the days(2000-2004) when just about EVERY Shooter got on some MONSTER Rolls. Sure, you'll see them "Every Now & Then", but it's pretty rare these Days. Our only salvation (these Days) is to chart the Tables & Ensure that the Dice are Fair! Unfortunately, in my neck of the woods my Nearest casino is a three hour Commute(One Way) so it's Very Disheartening to arrive... Only to find out that the Best Play is "No Play", because of the Biased Dice. It is what it is.

AMEN Tabletop !! .... However, you really don't have to chart to recognize unbalanced dice are in play - you can even be a recreational player or play craps as a hobby and notice that the dice are unbalanced (well most hobbyists as long as you just open your eyes and observe)

For instance I am down in New Orleans the weekend before Mardi Gras and getting ready to go chart the number of beads worn by the females on Bourbon Street when I walk through Harrah's Casino and take a glance at the 8 craps tables in play .... the 1st table I walk up to has the 4 marked as the Point and as I circle around all 8 tables, I notice the Point is either a 4 or 10 on every table o_O

A simple calculation in your head will tell you what the odds are of the 4 or 10 being the Point on 1 table with Fair dice .... BUT what are the odds of all 8 tables having the 4 or 10 marked as the Point simultaneously with Fair Dice ??!!!!!

That's right - about equivalent to seeing an ivory alligator in the wild

You will note that I did not post stats for the 4 as a Point above .... that's because this is a new bet and my sample size is pretty small right now for 4 as the Point based upon all the charts we have gathered .... Duh ?!! ... it's hard to to get enough 4s charted as the Point to form a proper analysis of P/DP when so many of the die faces at this particular Gold Coast table are 5s and 6s

... but most all of the astute Craps players are able to see that the 4 Repeater Bonus is payed off far less than the 6 Repeater Bonus - thus the higher bets being placed on the 6

In fact Harley I got a pm from MP expressing his love and affection for some of us, lol. Just kidding. He did in fact for the most part just said that my "point was understood". Hmmm. Sounds like fiction to me. Just sayin. Just so you know Harley my wife and I are coming into Vegas for a turnaround on the 19th of March. I talked with SR and told him I would give him a call. Don't know if we will be able to meet, but you never know. I asked him that if you were around that day that perhaps that we could all meet. I would love to have you guys give me some tips on what I am doing rong with my tossing, lol. Anyway just giving you fair warning.

Take care, and keep those cards and letters coming.

Here is a betting strategy that I would like a few opinions on. I have not tried it yet, but I have tried it on my computer craps game that I have. Here's the bet. Put $10 in the dp. The shooter sets the point of (lets say) 5. So now you place 3#'s, the 9, 10 6. You can place any #'s you want. Not necessarily these #'s. Anyway if a 7 is rolled you lose $6. If one of those #'s hit you have a profit of a dollar or two. You could place the 5, as a hedge also to cut down on the loss if the 5 is hit. Anyway just give me a few opinions on this. Just sayin.

EDIT: To delete part of this post where Mad Professor took over my account and started typing as me

YES and YES, there are still many other MP posts and pics still active there ....
here is your post before it got deleted by Heavy, although the Heavy one posted here the reason why was due to your request

Harley..... Superrick & I Discussed The situation concerning the exposure of his Wife's Name on a Craps Forum, & His License Plate Number. I think it was a VERY cheap shot at Rick, but as ALWAYS Superrick just takes it in Stride!!! Good that Superrick is a Laid Back kind of Guy. As for Myself...... I'm not wired that way, & I'd have gone COMPLETELY Ballistic. Maybe that's why Superrick is such a Stellar shooter. He doesn't lose his Temper when facing Adversity!!!!

rongarm10 - FYI, this is Heavy's explanation as to why your post was deleted - at least 1 version on this board which is quite bit different reasoning than posted on his board .... I understand it is hard to keep your stories straight when you are slinging BS every which way, but that is just the way the Heavy one does

The truth is that what Heavy posted here is completely different than what Heavy posted on his own board:

Hmmm. That really does not make a whole lot of sense. My post was not about you guys. It was a post about "what MP had posted". Plus I never "requested" that my post be taken down. Seems like I am walking around in "doggie poop" at times, lol. Just sayin.

Well once Heavy though you had anything to do with us you were doomed, They love to dish it out and they can call anybody anything they want to, but once someone say, hey wait a minute there is something wrong with what they are posting. They don't give anybody a chance to respond to what they wrote!
If we did a poll of how many were run off that board, I wonder how many on this board were a victim of what we call bullying by them!

The sad part is that for every 10 People that are "Unfairly" Banned, There's twenty more people standing in line waiting to be "Fleeced". Now why is That so? Talk about pulling a Rabbit out of a Hat. Got to give credit when Credit is Due......... Heavy is Definitely one of the best(If not THE Best) "Sleight Of Mind" Magicians...... BAR NONE!!!!!! Now..... Put THAT in your Pipe & smoke It! LOL
